Well done to CCP and GM Bjorn

I think I have experienced the best and fastest bit of customer service ever at the hands of CCP last night.

I was in a mission last night and for some reason the npc's would not appear in the last room, I could not complete the mission. While I was still in the room I filled in a support ticket, though it might be fixed by the time I arrived home from work the next day.

I flew back to the station, which was in the same system as the mission and no jumps required, to see if the complete button has somehow activated on the agent. By the time I docked there were no active missions. I checked the support ticket and already there was a message from GM Bjorn who had reset the mission and bid me to try it again.

Now THAT is service. I was so happy I had to change my frowny portrait into a smiley one. Well done CCP!

The Sarcastometer just exploded.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

What model did you use? I had a 3M Sarcasm-O-Meter 3000 but during the fall of Delve the posts in COAD made it melt, looking for a new one.

I dunno about you guys, but last time I was doing Angel Sound, I had my problem addressed within minutes.

It was funny because I was expecting to recieve an answer not sooner than next day so I JC'd out of Curse... Only to recieve notification from GM moments later Smile

I've just had reports from Geneva that the Large Hard-on Sarcastocollider is going supernova. Say goodbye to your families and make peace with your god.

It really wasnt a good idea to make a praising thread on the EVE-O forums with that name.

Then again, it would have been an even worse idea to make a praising thread on the EVE-O forums without having that name.

Hey, this would be a great post for this thread that is already on the topic:

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

Hey that's a great idea, I'm sure the OP of that other post will be most appreciative of your endorsement of their work.

Dear god, I just spit my drink all over my keyboard and nearly fell of my comfy office chair.

Well I was excited - I hope your keyboard was liquid-proof. Sadly, mine was not.

I had to cringe only the tiniest bit as this happened while I was at work.

Luckly those sturdy office keyboards are nigh indestructible.
If they were bolted to the table I'd even paint a big red "Marauder" on it.

Perfectly understandable, and has nothing to do with this thread.

On the very rare occasion that I have filed a 'stuck in mission' ticket they have also been answered and fixed within minutes.

This is not a signature.

Thanks Josef - having read other posts complaining about how long CCP take to answer tickets and support requests, I was genuinely surprised and pleased with how quickly that was handled, I thought I would be lucky to have it fixed before the mission bonus expired. Obviously issues in-game that are affecting immediate play are a priority.
