Excited for Rubicon. I feel like this is going to be one of the best expansions, yet.

Why in the world would you say that? The Rubicon patch is pathetically lacking in any meaningful content. I have characters operating in high, low, and null sec and Rubicon is literally going to have absolutely no effect on me with the possible minor exception of interceptors.

I'm also hoping to see MORE Dust integration. Hopefully, CCP listens to the voices that keep saying "DUST should be the deciding factor in FW conflicts".... it makes more sense for ground Infantry to be the make-or-break factor in changing sovereignty. I would also like to see that same factor needed for taking sov in nullsec, as well.

This is really only the beginning of what will probably make EVE better than ever.

Now, Valkyrie.... holy crap.

Confirming that I don't need the ISK. Richard can have it all.

I am looking forward to the changes Rubicon will make. All the ideas so far are very fine ones indeed and I will very much enjoy the warp speed changes and SoE ships.

Yeah, lets add more griefing mechanics to a game that is already over burdened with useless trolling structures that force people to dissappropriate from real life in order to accomplish a goal in a _game_. Instead of building mechanics that cause a commitment, we want more that cause ping pong bullshit gameplay that only elitists and trolls enjoy. Also, we want more area denial tactics too, because the cloak itself wasn't enough.

Yea i'm agreeing with the other bitter vets. After nearly 10 years of playing, this is the first time that i'm rolling my eyes at an expansion. When I watched the announcement video is was seriously going 'wait that's it? wth?' I can see this might be a stepping stone to an awesome spring expansion, but... that one had better be awesome to justify this mediocre expansion that should just be a patch. fixes and like a handful of things that could be cool but are just a bit meh.

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!

The first time?

At least with Incarna they tried something ambitious which would have been awesome if they had pulled it off. Rubicon is blatantly yawn worthy; "let's adjust some stats and call it an expansion".

Everyone that says "mediocre" has no vision.
Think about what this will do for future expansions.

No.

Incarna did more harm to EVE than good. Nothing could have saved it.

**** that. It's already ******* ******** that one group can be pushed back from making a system vulnerable indefinitely by overwhelming swarms of idiots with PS3s. I don't own a console and won't own one and if bullshit like DUST keeps shitting in my sandbox I'll find a new one.

LOL, someone who sees "vision" in some crappy deployables, but can't see how revolutionary being able to walk around stations and interact with other players there would have been,

I'd really like to try some of that KoolAid you've been drinking.

Again, if you could clarify what it is that's actually so ground breaking in Rubicon that it sets a precedent for future expansions, I would appreciate it.

Then again, I guess I'm just not on the _level_.

What's with all this optimism, OP? Haven't you heard?

Bastion sucks,
Interceptors suck,
Deployable Tractor structure thingy sucks,
Ghost sites suck, everything sucks. Infact, the only thing that's supposed to suck, Siphons, doesn't suck.

But seriously, waiting for Rubicon and the 'Sky has fallen' threads.

You forgot "Jake Warbird Sucks, Nerf him"! CCp is going to come to your house and when they are done, you will be 10 inches shorter and less good looking. They will proclaim you "Balanced" and fly back to Iceland. Cool

it's a patchspansion but being able to change your fit on the fly in hostile space is really going to be something. I'm looking forward to that.

but yeah, i think they need something amazing for the spring one.
