Watched the whole battle from start to finish ....

I believe the titan had enough ozone to light repair cyno's until down time ... nice move.

To the people trying to kill it .......... next time grow some and jump in 100 dreads ...
mincing around with battleships, bombers etc the only thing you managed to kill was the node.

An innocent question to the dudes who seem to think CCP deliberately cheated them for a Titan kill:

Would you have been even close to killing a titan, had it not been for the ****** cyno-in bump mechanics? You can hardly complain about the game working against you, when the sole reason for the titans getting out of the initial supercap rep range is due to bugged cyno-bumping.

titan would have lasted till DT. CCP did us all a favor by killing the node early so we didn't have to sit and suffer in the horrible 99.99% tidi. Spent 2 hours trying to warp. yer 2 hours!

The node and the system was fine until CFC pinged and brought down 200 more people.
Second CFC entered local, the whole node started acting weird, lag was increasing a lot, guns were not cycling any more, ships wouldnt stop / align / react at all.

So all you guys complaining about CCP being on N3 side and saying "why didnt this happen when BL supers were tackled" - it's really easy.

Everybody hates us, when our titans are tackled everybody and their grandmothers pets form a fleet to kill us.
When BL is tackled, nobody comes to safe them (except for RAZOR).

Did you see vee forming a 200 man fleet to get BLs supers out? No.
Did you see -A- and DD staying on field to get BLs supers out? No.



I know it sucks that the node crashed, I know our coalition and PL benefited from it, but in the end it was CFC that kept spamming local chat and kept jumping in more and more people.

I know exactly when both fleets came in and that is the biggest load of bullshit. I'm all for the debate but how about keeping it to facts. The fight started and peaked to about 1900 and by the time the 1st reinforcement fleet got to us it bought the numbers in local to 1700 due to all the euros logging off who had work the next day. The server performance got worse when local was at 1300 odd so what you are smoking I don't know.

CFC had a 100 man Domi fleet at the start, a mega fleet was bought in to reinforce it totalling another 100 dudes and we had a boat bomber fleet knocking around from the start. If this is us blobbing I would love to see what you think of 600 megas 250 celestis and 100 logi + support.

What I'm saying is your claim is just as dumb as the people who think this was CCP bias.

The subcaps weren't the issue. The server was running fine until the 250 slows began jumping in and out of system picking up and dropping drones and refitting modules. The servers are capable of handling the numbers of subcaps on grid easily but for years the most taxing thing on the servers are new jump ins. So every time we bumped the titan out of rep range another group of carriers jumped back in. I just wish the node would have crashed 4 hours earlier :D

Look at 6vdt fight 4200 subcaps no problem.
