I am seeking a loan, and or a sponsor to help me kick start a pvp career. I am quite new to this game, but have read quite alot regarding Eve, and pvp sticks out to me.

I would like a loan and or sponsor to help me support a fleet of minmatar ships, and later a Merc corp.

All help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure where to start.

1) This is Market not Charity discussions.
2) You gave absolutely zero real information.
3) read up on similar discussions on this forum an I think you'll see where this one is gonna go.

I am not looking for charity. I am looking for an investor and a partner to help me hone my pvp skills and learn how to make money off it.

I plan on paying off the loan off wrecks, that I collect.

It might not be good in the beginning, but i need a long term contact to learn pvp.

I plan on paying back 40% of my kill mail to the investor, and at any moment the investor wants to cancel the loan i will liquidate my fleet and pay them back.

You could just as well take the money and run.
And why would anyone "sponsor" someone that's self admittadly bad at pvp.

This is is going nowhere.

ps: Dimitrix is that you? lol

Hi Lord Olu, please allow me to introduce myself.
I am Nanatoa. I am somewhat of a regular of this forum section, known for responding to loan requests. I recently made a relevant post regarding loan requests like yours. Would you be so kind as to read it and respond with your thoughts on this matter? Your input will be greatly appreciated!

Lord Olu, if you are genuinely a new player seeking this type of assistance than perhaps a training corporation like EVE University would be a good place to get started. Otherwise, please refer to the above posts by okoolos and Nanatoa.

A sponsor you may get as EVE does have a community of generous people within it (and an equal if not greater amount of devious people!) Many corps within the game would be willing to sponsor you and teach you the things you need to know to be able to pvp effectively. Additionally, many corps also have ship replacements which would reduce your pvp activities to negligible amounts.

A loan would be much harder as your plan revolves around unknowns and uncertainties.

It is difficult to make money from pvp initially. Thus it may be difficult to pay back your sponsor. Having said that, there are many other options, as suggested above.

If you genuinely want to learn pvp, try looking at the corp recruitment forum for a suitable corp. A post in the forum, expressing your desire to learn (and no money), is likely to get positive response. Corps like Eve Univ. and RvB may be suitable for your needs.

Lastly, you could offer your services as a mercenary in the Sell Orders forum, where you may also find sponsors.

Any colour you like.

I think you're cool, but not worth throwing 300 million isk at you. Making isk off pvp is doable, but not fun.
If you want to make isk while having fun PvPing, you'd have to kill ~5-10 ships of your own size just to compensate for your inevitable ship loss (not including hauling the **** to jita).
If you want to make isk the boring way, get a falcon and a sabre and gank bombers/covops.

I like what you are saying.

I am not interested in corps as I have an unique schedule as to when I am on, and would prefer to learn myself the hard way of pvp. I would eventually like to get good at it and start my own corporation which I can teach people what i have learned, and pass the knowledge.

I understand, that my request is a lot, but I express my objectives and long term goals, and hope that people see them as reasonable.

I appreciate all your inputs so far.

Thank you.

I think there is a point that everyone is missing here.

The beauty of the eve doctrine "don't fly what you can't afford to lose"
at the beginning of an eve career this is t1 frigs.
t1 frigs are cheap and an ideal way to learn all the pvp mistakes that you can and will make.
FW exists for a nice frig on frig bazttlezone that also makes isk.

Thus there is not only no need for an investor but OP would be worse off with an invester as it would tempt him into flying ships he wasn't ready to fly and couldn't afford to lose.

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

I will loan you 100m, as this will be a good start up fund.

My conditions would be that you pay me 37.5 m a week for one month or until loan is repaid, and that you support me with km as often as you receieve them.

I understand how it feels to be a new character, and the trials one goes through whether or not to go on with the game.

I hope you do well and we can set up a strong partnership.
