Of all the trade hubs that I've experienced, the banter and community in Dodixie is the best.

Compared to Jita, you spend a few seconds blocking spammers and scammers and voila! There are actually people talking to each other!! Oh, and the duels... sometimes I just like to sit and watch them, just two ships going at each other, no RR, no fleet boosters, nada, just two ships and their pilots.

Go to Amarr.... err, well, it's not that bad, but Dodixie is better. Very close second in Amarr, but I do prefer the prices in Sinq, especially regarding sales.

Hek just feels like Las Vegas. It has no place existing where it does but somehow, it survives. And again, I prefer the Sinq market for most of its prices.

The only other 'trade hubs' I frequent are Villore, Arnon and Oursulaert. Going to Villore feels like walking down the main street of a neighbourhood that lives mostly below the poverty line, Arnon is.... well, different every time. Lots of newbs asking for help killing Dagan, though, that never changes. And Ours... I think Ours is dying. The market there is good, but the system itself always seems so stagnant, except for two pairs of docking gamers that frequent it, one of which I nearly smashed in a Myrmidon a few weeks back (that was fun, don't think he was expecting me to switch targets to his RR 50km away and get fire on it in less than 10 seconds).

That's how it feels to me, anyway. Others will have different experiences. I definitely prefer Dodixie. Can't say I've been there when TiDi was on though.

If you believe Dodixie does not have fights, or that there is no lowsec nearby, you have clearly never been there. Blink

I love Decon. Had my first >1b solo kill there, and my first 1v2 victory (where I was the solo person). Almost had a 1v4 victory once too, but my tank broke just a few seconds before I could turn the fight around.

So yes, we have fights.

I believe Dodixie is the closest trade hub to Amamake.

Amarr is only one jump further though and has a sexy downward undock.

You might thinks Rens is, but that is implying Amamake is connected to Osoggur with a stargate, which is clearly not the case.

I quite agree with and support this point of view.

Not having Amamake on your avoidance list is asking for it.

Amarr is the bomb.

That downward undock.

I would love to be able to launch bombs at both undocks. Also, I support this reinforcement requestCool

Hey no need to have Amamake on your avoidance list, I travel through there all the time.

Egghelende->Siside->Amamake->Gulmorogod. Getting from Egg to Gul any other way is nonsensical.

I moved my main back to Amarr a while ago, but I still miss Dodixie's 'community' quite often. Local chat there is hella fun, and the fights are good.

Psh.

EVE doesn't get press attention for having 2 thousand people in Jita. EVE gets press attention for our big fleet fights, which no other game out there can offer right now.

"Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."
