Where do tech 1 common ship BPC's drop?

Do tech 1 common ship BPC's drop? If so, where, and when would a new character realistically start seeing them drop.

I just don't recall seeing common ship BPC's as a normal drop in the universe. I've seen plenty of more rare BPC's from plexes, drug BPC's etc. but not, say, a run of the mill frigate, cruiser, etc.

T1 BPO's can be bought on the market.

T1 Researched BPC's can be bought in contracts.

Edit: The BPO's are seeded items.

You can buy nearly all tech 1 BPO fron NPC sell orders in hisec.

Some BPO are only sold in specific regions, but most of the low-level BPO are available everywhere. Example: some drone related BPOs can only be found in Gallente space.

ORE BPO are only available at four ORE stations located in two nulsec systems. [Same for the some mining skill books.]

You can also buy BPO and BPC on contracts. There is also an in-game blueprints chat channel.

Thank you for the links, etc. What I was really going for was. . . do tech 1 common ship BPC's (or BPO's I guess) drop from ratts, cans in plexes, etc.

I have found many limited run BPC's in plexes for drugs, towers, etc. but I don't recall picking up a BPC or BPO for just something like a normal frig, cruiser, etc.

I was wondering, do they drop, can they be found without using the market or contracts.

Confirming that BPOs and BPCs drop from shuttles.


I have ganked many many shuttles that have contained LOTS of Blueprints.... Im still waiting for the shuttle carried Titan BPO to drop... once it does....:::drool:::

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
