Hello everyone. As I'm sure many of you are aware, there was an anomalous explosion detected in the Syndicate region. Upon hearing of this I quickly headed towards Syndicate to investigate. The scan data I collected has been cleared for public release and can be found below. I hope this aids in the investigation of the incident.

    Conclusions:

    Nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary, and I'll have to agree with earlier sentiments voiced by other pilots: it is likely that whatever happened has quickly been covered up. A colleague of mine mentioned that the 4 picometer and 25 micrometer radation pulses would be in the gamma and low infrared bands respectively; post-incident analysis with multispectral core and combat scanner probes revealed nothing out of the ordinary. The patches of Anoikis connecting to the constellation of concern had light capsuleer traffic during the analysis, but otherwise there were few signs of human activity outside of control towers and the like. This makes it doubtful that there is any sort of experimental weapons research being conducted in those W-space systems, though again the possibility that known-space organizations are covering up the explosion should be considered.

    What did you read? In the related thread Pilot Priano correctly noted that all of the connection to Anoikis were outbound: from Syndicate to Anoikis. If the Oruze Osobnyk is related to the explosion it must have been some pretty coincidental timing.

    I don't totally remember. Some rambling about semantics or inference to its nature as a weapon store house or a weapon. This was a while ago, sorry. Still weird that an explosion that big was covered up that fast. Was there a corresponding event elsewhere? Any kind of change? What about that static hole Sansha had. Did it do anything?

    There have been no new major events reported, though who knows what is going on concurrently?

    Checking on the wormhole generated by the Nation fleet a few years back might be fruitful, though it is rather far from the Syndicate constellation mentioned by the media. If any change did happen to the Promised Land wormhole and could be definitively linked to the Syndicate explosion it's safe to say we're definitely dealing with new wormhole-related tech.

    I mean it's far from Syndicate, but in the end it's still a spatial anomaly? I dunno, I'm better with parasites and infections, not theoretical physics.

    There is no connection between this event and Nation. I would be willing to bet my favorite Exequror that this is simply drug addled minds in the Serpentis that are playing with technology they are years away from properly understanding.

    I'm not saying you toasters did anything. I'm using what you DID do as a possibility of testing stuff. And I doubt it was as simple as a Serpentis pleb poking at something...if it was though, that was a very, very big something.

    Someone is, with certainty, covering this up. I'm eager to see if any more anomalous explosions pop up in the coming weeks (so long as said explosions don't kill people; another Seyllin would be bad).

    My inner hacktivist calls me to check up on the Big Four and see what information they have on all of this.

    Your better bet is to shake up some Syndicate folk until some info comes out.

    I don't really do the whole "shake people up" thing. I'll be happy to watch their every movement from a Cheetah though!

    Speaking of which, has any further word come from Intaki Syndicate officials after Dr. Mitara's press statement?
