I have many location bookmarks - safe spots, auto-undocks, plexes, etc, as well as the regular systems and stations. I would find it helpful if the People & Places menu had a "Favourites" tab that I could use as a quick reference when setting course between commonly visited systems.

Any thoughts?

[EDIT: Ridiculous idea - as has been pointed out, this function already exists. Read on for Pelador's much better idea.]

You can setup folders as is now to organise bookmarks as needs, if your accessing them from the people and places menu it seems all you need to do is consider how you organise them. (Tip: you can also duplicate BM's by shift clicking into your cargo space, allowing quick copying into other folders.)

I was hoping the additional function of favourites would transfer the in space right click function to not only select the BMs you have organised for the system currently, but also have a selectable catergory (line leading to selection) of these favourites which would open up BM's that you use often without having to open the people and places screen at all.

If I havent got your needs down properly and I'm failing to see clearly what they are, I'm sorry, but either way if there's a way to acomodate both?
