The new dessies / EAFS will tear into intys. along with cerbs / NOmen.

Thing about them going that fast, and orbiting aroud 20K plus- they are really not going to be scramming you. I could care less if an inty is orbiting me with a long point. If he does dip into scram range, that is a different story- then you need your Heated / Linked fed webs / neuts to shut them down.

Luckily 99.99999% Of interceptor pilots are really bad, so even with links- when they attempt to scram, you are easily able to get that web / neut off.

Thing about the nomen, is that it is fast enough (Provided you are heating) to use its speed to reduce transversal enough where you can two shot them.

@To mare: You have any idea how fast an inty can get on grid after the xpack......best be in one agile ass ship the MINUTE SECOND local changes Twisted[/quote]
thats a whole different story
and surely not the right one to call for a light missile speed buff

However as pointed out, a max skilled bonused hull (cerb) can make them go away, so we have one reliable ship and a few that can scratch the paint Blink

Neut drones ignroe trackign so when the orbitign ships orvertun them and pass close they hit. You can eep callign them back and send them, or change targets when they are better positionined to go agaisnt the incomming ceptors.

Since ceptors usually fly very on cap limit, usually is enough to scare them.

Cerberus with neuting drones. Hmm.

Not discounting the need for dscan or combat probing you down. Calling it a "one second" window of safety is a ridiculous over estimation

Never said that shoudl be in the cerberus, just answered him when he said that sicne turrets and missiles cannto kill an interceptors what is left to do it.

Neuting drones are really.... meh. Especially against intys, who have an amaizing role bonus to the cap use of disruptors, throw on toip of that frigate cap regen- and honeslty its just a waste.

Yeah on the drone discussion - the only way to make drones fast enough to catch them is with 2 drone navigation computers (which gimps your fit anyway - it was a specialized fit I was testing). And even then - it didnt help hardly at all. They could cause some damage - but not enough to be a reliable option. The warriors could only get one shot off and then fell behind - or overshot the the inty completely. Again - this was a couple of years ago when I tested it, but I dont expect it has changed much, if at all. The algos might require only one DNC, but I dont expect a different result.

As an aside - I seem to recall that the warriors were going so fast, I actually had trouble getting them back into the drone bay because they would zip past me when returning.
