So I've been face-rolling anomalies with my ishtar out here in the blue donut and was wondering if an Eos could do a similarly awesome, or perhaps better job.

I was excited about the Stratios, but not so much anymore.

Mostly, I'm just curious if anyone does it, and if its worth the training time. Note that I'd definitely use it for fleet ops as well.

I have a shield ishtar for ratting with 4 drone damage amps, a magstab and 4 200mm railguns for 900+ dps at spike range (with garde IIs), which I'd imagine is the same damage modules you'd load onto an eos.

The EOS is more suited for heavy drones instead od sentries as the Ishtar is. So, I think the Ishtar will work better,

As previous posters have mentioned, Ishtar would be better. To justify using an Eos you need to capitalize on the tanking, heavy drone, and command bonuses or else you're just paying more for less.

You certainly can run sentries on an Eos, but there's not much reason to. You'd just be left with a bigger, fatter, more expensive ship, that does the same or lower DPS, doesn't project/apply that DPS nearly as well, and has a weaker sustained tank.
