HAM Tengu for LVL '4s (dealing with frigs)

2 x T2 rigors and 1x t2 flare + javelins will eat frigs.

Not sure how resilient frigs are in level 4 missions because i never done any but it works pretty damn well against Null sec anomalies elite frigs.

Only Problems with Frigs that Scram and web? Nothing else? Then try 5 x Hobgoblin II and keep shooting other stuff while they take care of it.

Tengu has no drone bay with the accelerated ejection bay subsystem

A long, long time ago heavies were universally better than HAMs. Missile damage application skills didn't apply to HAMs and heavies had more paper damage than they do now. However, HAMs now have smaller explosion radius and higher velocity, with 50% more DPS. Good piloting and javelins means you never need heavies.

I use a few options depending on the situation. I have used one or more of the following at any given time: t1 ammo, stasis webifier, target painter and the synth booster that affects missiles. Basically, you either need to slow them down or make them bigger.

Also, your skills are important. Not having guided missile precision to lvl 5 because it takes a long time is not an excuse when you are doing this for your primary source of income.
