How could they possibly have the time to work on the the trailer if they are busy fixing and adjusting content while flying rifter models around CCP HQ.

Average MMO Expansion: 1-6 months of beta testing and player feedback, and a trailer 1-3 months from release.

CCP Expansion: 1-6 months of developement, 3 weeks of testing and feedback, and a trailer 2 days before release.

It is known.

I still prefer CCP expansions since they don't make everything I've done utterly pointless, invalidate all that gear I've worked hard for, and force me to start on the treadmill all over again at the start. Instead CCP expansions typically make what I use more polished, easier to use, and a smoother game experience. While leaving all my previous gains intact. So yea... Gimme CCP expansions any day.
