Cyclone cargo hold

I just roamed thru wiki.eveonline.com i realized that the cyclone has the same cargo bay as the Rupture and the the Thorax has even more.

Since Cyclone it's active tanked i tought that the Brutix alos would have such a small cargo ... and i was wrong - 475m3

ASB is for burst tank but the old school Cap Booster + Shield Booster should allow to get more sustained tank wich means having Cap charges in cargo hold.

Pre-overhaul Cyclone had 475m3 and i don't see a reason to not give it back. By the time BC were revamped i think we can say that this ship is not OP and that some more cargo space would not harm anyone.

+ some ppl use it's 2 utility hi slots to put slavagers on PVE fits

Thanks to AR and SB buff in last patch i was interested in the old shool active tanking.

Any toughts?

Well cargo space does largely determine quite a bit when you are roaming with a cap booster heavy ship. There a few ways to fix this, with out an outright buff to cargo space:

Get a transport alt
Get your fleet mates to carry charges for you
Roam in low sec, and buy charges from stations / NPC null stations

However I would agree, that ships you know are cap hungry should perhaps have some thought of increased cargo size.

Not a bad idea. The Cyclone[1] definitely needs something and it looks like this would be a fairly conservative start. Not sure it's enough, but hey: progress.

The reason i'd like to see more cargo space is the fact that some low sec systems dont have stations so you should be able to carry enough cap charges to get 2-3 fights (lets say taking on 2 cruisers each time as a reference) before you need to resupply.

The cheap side of this hull was the reason i bought it when i could fly BC, i liked the fact it was an underdog but today i feel it still need some love from CCP to make it more attractive... i'd love to see a little more PG . . . or lower the PG on standard XL shield boosters but then it would unbalance other ships that could abuse it i guess...

Maybe the limited capacity is some way of balance for the use of dual ASB?

Fittign dual XL asb on a cycloen is a sure way to have a worthless ship that cannot kill a hauler before it flies away.

These fits are good for baiting only.
