  • Average FPS during the fight at the gate in Poitot - zoomed in: 13
  • Was client performance better or worse compared to your TQ experience with the same settings and fleet size? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) 5
  • Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? No
  • We added texture LODing to reduce the client memory, textures loading when zooming in and out can be delayed in heavy scenes. Did you feel this degraded the visual experience? I did notice some very blurry textures, I guess this is why.
  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: There was a curious one way emergency warp on exiting the warp tunnel for the first jump, leaving me a million km from the gate.

  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: The texture LODing was delayed enough that things (including my ship) didn't actually appear for 10 seconds or so when zooming in/out at the POS fight. I moved my camera to someone else's ship during the fight and it was 30 seconds before I saw anything other than their guns.

We added texture LODing to reduce the client memory, textures loading when zooming in and out can be delayed in heavy scenes. Did you feel this degraded the visual experience? I noticed it when zooming in on my ship. In a way it does, but I am not one to complain about it.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: There were 2 bugs that I will be submitting reports for. The first was after first the mass gate jump. When I landed, my ship auto-warped to some deadspace location. The second was during the warp to dock up, I had the MFD animation on the rear of my ship midwarp.

Ran smoother this time than last mass test. Also noticed that TiDi was only at 40% roughly and not 10% like last time. Was also fleetless this time with a fuller overview and had brackets on and still got the same and maybe a little higher fps at the gate with everything set to high still.

AVG FPS zoomed out: 40 fps
AVG FPS zoomed in: 10 fps

Client Performance: 6

I did not notice any visual degradation as a result of the delayed texture loading. The fight was impressive visually.

The initial invites did not go as well as the last mass test. The performance of the client was improved was the last mass test, I had less module activation lag and the client remained responsive.

At the end of the fight when after we were instructed to leave the field, I warped straight through a bubble that was on grid with the gate on the way to the station. I'm not sure if I was actively in a bubble when I initiated warp but I thought that bubbles in your path would stop warp. I was in a non nullified tengu.
