Right now the minmatar are heavily outnumbered in USTZ.

On the minmatar side the only ones who will have fleets up are Late Night Alliance and Winmatar (who don't cooperate).

Meanwhile Amarr has:
* A 10 man Death By Design fleet
* A 20 man Radical Astronauts Plundering Eve fleet with public militia mixed in
* A 40 man J4LP + Imperial Outlaws fleet

This makes the minmatar understandably reluctant to fight. Especially considering if they try and fight one fleet, they could end up getting blobbed by multiple Amarr fleets.

Meanwhile in AUTZ The Diggers will grind down ihubs uncontested.

In EUTZ things are a lot more evenly matched and the minmatar are a lot better organized. I remember we had a 16 man cruiser fleet we lost to a 30 man cruiser and destroyer fleet they brought into the plex we were in. Late NIght Alliance were together with White-Lotus and general militia. We'll also send destroyer fleets to try and plex in Huola and they're able to bring better fit destroyers in greater numbers to stop us usually.

and a 3 man amarrian vengeance blob

Whoa man, take it easy. That blob is pretty much unbeatable according to WINMATAR. A one man blob might even be too much for them to handle.

I think the Amarr's problem is that they either fly the same boring inferior fleet comps that the Minmatar don't want to fight because they're tired of killing them or unbeatable fleet comps that have been declared unfightable by the same Minmatar. Maybe if the Amarr could somehow form a doctrine that could be speed-tanked by an AB fit stealth bomber and thus emulating a level 4 Factional Warfare mission, the Minmatar would be more willing to engage, since they have no qualms with running those for days on end.

no idea. but amarr militia are willing to except all their previous miss-doings and will turn a blind eye even when they are killing their own brothers.

Even some amarr i know who consider themselves loyalist or RP in some fashion will literately pretend that the guy they just killed in DBD's fleet is not amarr, instead someone else.

Even ruthless alliances like iron oxide dont go around randomly executing their own kin.

Those were really fun fights just now in Kourmonen. Cruiser brawls like that are FW at its best!

LNA, Defiant Legacy, and IO all brought an extremely good fight, there.

I'd like to echo Gaven in giving a shout out to LNA and the other Minmatar corps defending Kourmonen earlier tonight.

The Ardency formed up a dessie + logi frig fleet and headed to Kourmonen to try to help keep the system above 80% contested. We jumped and killed a smaller LNA gang in a small plex, captured it, and then headed to Auga since there were no more plexes in Kourm. A little bit later we came back to Kourm and got into the newly spawned small plex. LNA dropped a bunch of thrashers on us and forced us out of the plex without a fight since they outnumbered us and could have alphaed our frig logi off the field. We went and shipped up into cruisers to take the medium plex; a few of our friends in PIE joined us at this point. We got into the medium plex in Kourm and noticed the Minmatars leaving the system, and sure enough, a few minutes later they all came back having dumped their thrashers in favor of cruisers. We had 3 augs, 4 or 5 DPS armor cruisers, and a couple miscellaneous ships. They had about the same numbers with 2 blackbirds, 2 augs, an Exequror, and an assortment of projectile armor cruisers. They came in on us and they killed two of our augs, while we managed to kill both of their's plus the first blackbird and was burning through the second when DBD warped in with a dessie/AF gang and the Minmatars who weren't pointed warped out leaving us to kill the second blackbird, the Exequror, and a Rupture. I sent the two aug pilots to reship, but the Minmatars' base was closer and they got back to the plex before my logi pilots and ran us off with 1:30 left on the plex clock. We regrouped, got our two aug replacements, and headed back in. Their fleet wasn't in the plex so we jumped back in uncontested. LNA came back with a few more people the second time with 3 augs, 4 SFIs, and an assortment of other armor cruisers. We burned through all three of their logi and started on their DPS while losing two out of three of our own augs when DBD's gang jumped back in again. We traded losses, with them losing 2 SFIs, an Ashimmu, and a Navy Aug, while we lost an Omen and Vexor, until their remaining ships warped out. I don't know exactly what DBD's losses were, but I think they lost at least a dessie and an AF. After almost an hour of back and forth, we finally captured the medium plex and I stood down the fleet.

All in all, great fights. They really could have gone either way, especially if DBD hadn't joined in or if LNA had been able to field a few more DPS cruisers. Faction Warfare has the best PvP in the game, in my opinion, and fights like tonight's are the reason I've been in FW for 9 out of the 10 months I've been playing Eve. The adrenaline rush you get when that first enemy ship lands on grid is real.

So once again, thanks to LNA and company for bringing the fight tonight.

I was there for some of the frig/dessie level fights. The fleets just kept coming. As soon as one fight was over, another enemy fleet was called out and we'd go fight that.

Just remember to not d-scan before warping; this tactical blunder prevents fights, and thus prevents victories.

Donations for above advice not required but appreciated.

Excuse me, but what the f*ck are you desu?

Holy ****, I so called this.

It seems Death By Design has declared war on J4PL and has been dunking their fleets through the night. And it looks like this will continue. Some claim the Amarr to be split down the middle but I don't think that is the case.

What interests me, is to see who will assist J4PL or DBD on thier respective sides. Internal wardecs happen all the time in FW but the fact that each side in this war is such a major player of the side of the Amarr could prove problematic for the militia as a whole.

It seems this wardec was kicked off by an ex minmatar pilot flying with Death by Design when J4PL nuked his neutral alt. Who was flying nothing more than a T1 Frig. Was this ex-matari pilot placed into the Amarr and DBD as an agent with the intent on causing inter militia problems. Or was this just another FW corp over reacting to some friendly fire.

Way to overcomplicate such a simple issue.

Here's the routine:

1. Predator Elite joins the Amarr militia
2. Drama ensues, wardecs get thrown around
3. Predator Elite ragequits FW

It's just what he does. Every 6 months or so.
