What will happen to ships possibly stored in the SMA of a carrier that is stored in a POS SMA (nesting egg style)?

What the hell.... they BROKE there own feature?

This must be a bug and I will stop it...

** Furiously writes a letter to CCP

** Dear CCP..

** You created a conflict driver, and now broke the game...

** We hated rewards for destroying towers...

** How could you do this to us? Stuff will drop out of hangers now....

** I hate Bacon

** Also we killed 45 SMA's before the bug was introduced. Could you send us our loot.

** K Thanx Bai

** PS. Drone assist is still working as normal. This is a bug, could you "Fix it".

Will take some of us 20-26 days to train the necessary skills to help protect WH POS -- something that was not needed BEFORE by most of us.....announcement made by DEV first week of Nov...Like the idea but that is not enough time to train......BOO CCP!

Very nice to see this change happening! Now those that stick to these sieges might actually get something... Oh wait, you can still SD inside a POS for some reason.

At least make a self destructed ship show up as a killmail if the POS is bubbled.

A great change that has needed to be fixed, thanks to the CSM members that nagged the hell out of CCP for this.

Also glad you added the KM function.

Now can you please stop the option people have of unanchoring an SMA in the seconds after a shield is dropped?

What's the problem if they implement scorched earth. It's not like they get to keep their loot, they just blew it all up to spite you. Sounds perfectly appropriate in EVE to be able to spite your enemy by denying them loot.

Let this be proof to all the nonbelievers out there that the CSM is, in fact, just a useless publicity stunt by CCP and holds no real power. They don't really do anything and it's just a free trip to Iceland to party with the devs outside of Fanfest.

Okay, sarcasm mode off.

This is an amazing change and long overdue. Bravo and huzzah.

CCP Fozzie wrote:
Hello everyone. We've got another Rubicon change to announce for you all.
When a SMA is destroyed after Rubicon, it will drop a wreck. The wreck will contain ships dropped from the destroyed SMA, with each ship having the same 50% chance to drop that governs normal loot drop mechanics. That wreck will have special functionality that allows players to eject the intact ships out into space, where anyone can board them. You will also be able to fly up with a carrier or orca and drag ships directly into your ship hangar.

It will not be possible to add ships to the wreck, and you can't board ships directly from the wreck since that would mean placing your current ship into it. We have also removed the multi-eject options from all SMAs and SMA wrecks to avoid node crushing volumes of ships entering space. You must eject ships one at a time.

This is exactly how CCP should implement Outpost destruction Big smile

One less thing the for CSM to keep asking us for! (But seriously, they've been very insistent on keeping up the pressure to make this change happen, so well done to them)
And Fozzie needs to stop hogging all these Likes for himself - share the love!

This feature, along with being able to refit T3 subsystems in the wormhole, is a huge positive move. Thank you CCP and good work from the CSM too. Now all we need is a definite stop to the proposed T3 nerf and some new content drivers and we'll be golden :-)
