Hello Szmuglerka and thank you for your question Smile

What the corp does is actually left out of the main post on purpose believe it or not Smile
It might sound silly but we do not want people that are just looking for a place were they feel they can make a good chunk of ISK and dont care about anything else, which is a common problem everywere i guess. Now granted the information is out there to be found and i am posting this here because you have showed interest in actually knowing Blink

So for your question.
Were one of those all around corpoerations. Yea i know it sounds very boring but we do have the regular miners, the pvp'ers that wont shut up about how great their fits are,the people who spend their days in jita doing trades while posting gibberish in corp chat, the explorers the WH dwellers the mission runners and ofc the occasional young player that runs around and is exited because they get to play with the "cool kids".

Would we like to be more..specialised? Sure who ouldent! But because of the kind of people we are looking for we really arent picky on what a player wants to do. I will admit tho that sometimes its hard to make sure everyone is pleased and have operations going that dosent exlude one group or another, but we do our best and luckely the members are very good at starting operations and events on their own to save the poor directors sanety :)

Hope this answeared your question and i wish you the best of luck with whatever you end up doing Smile

They usually understand the 24-hour rule when it's in regard to responses, I think they just don't want recruitment posts being bumped every hour & such.

Just asked because, for example, I'm looking for a high-sec PvE Corp located in or near Gall or Caldari space. From reading your initial post, I wouldn't know if your Corp is PvP or PvE, if it's in high, low, null or wh's, or any of the pertinent information I'd need to make a decision as to whether I'd like to know more.

Telling what you do doesn't have to be about isk, for example, I don't need isk, I have isk, I need people to do stuffs with, all of us aren't whiny beggars, some of us ARE self-sufficient & may very well be/have been interested in what you're offering IF we knew what that was. Not a knock on you or your strategy, I can kind of understand where you're coming from, but in your endeavor to dissuade an unwanted element you're also alienating potential desirable candidates.

I like do-it-all Corps because that's what I do, a little of everything, I think specialization is overrated, I'd find only doing ONE thing extremely boring, so I just group Corps by PvE or PvP-based & then location & what TZ their members are in, then factor in any Corp programs & such then how friendly/helpful people are & try to make a decision from there. The MORE info I can get, the better, because it is SO hard to find an ideal "Guild" in EVE, as opposed to other MMO's, where grouping up with some other schmucks to kill those giant spiders in the orchard is pretty easy peasy.

Thanks for the response, good info, also thanks for your well wishes, you seem pretty cool, I hope your Corp is successful! Big smile

I don't visit the forums often (and not often enough according to some), so pardon me if this has been covered, but since your corp does/did a little bit of everything, I'm going to deduce that you do it well considering your corp age (almost 8 years) and still decent numbers. I've noticed several members with wormhole-related titles. For new recruits, who've, say, only dipped their toes into LoSec, but are interested in wormholes, how do you prep them for this? (For example, trial time in HiSec first,; run-through in LoSec; jump to Null for a week; certain skill requirements? Trade secret?)

Also, are you okay with players who have one character in your corp and one in another (with the understanding that the two crops are maligned towards each other)?

Oh, and has your corp become more specialized or are you still all-around? Or maybe a better way to put it, do you now prefer your members to be specialized in one or two areas, or is it acceptable to dabble a little into most of EvE?

For most players their interest changes as the years go by, and this is something we have managed to adjust to over the years, and we have done our best to provide an environment where players are able to experience more or less anything without having to feel they are "loosing" the friends they have gotten within the corp, or feel that they cant experience it because they dont want to leave the corp.
Because of this we have a wide range of players that are fairly experienced in many aspects of the game, and they are always willing to offer advice and/or assistance when they have time (as long as you ask them nicely Blink ).

In simple words, if you want to do a bit of everything we wont object, and if you prefer to just do one thing and nothing else we will still not object. We are leaving that completely up to the player (with the exception of high sec griefing).
However, we do encourage all of our players to participate when there is a war or similar, even if its just in a cheap t1 frig as a tackle Smile

For WH space access.
Because of our age we are also fairly paranoid. Accidents happens, you trust the wrong person, someone stabs you in the back. Things like that simply cant be prevented unless you do what our CEO dreams about doing, setting the entire EVE universe red, kicking everyone from the corp, and setting his alts to red just to be sure Lol
But there are ways it can be limited.
Because of this we have a 3 month trial period. During these 3 months you have no roles, and no WH space access obviously. This also gives younger players the chance to get the needed skills to actually survive in WH space (a list that is provided by our WH director, who is also the one you have to flatter with to get WH roles when your trial period is up Blink ).
There are people in the WH who will help the new residents, show them how things are done and so on, and you will also find the random corp members welcome new players when they go WH roaming which will teach you a lot about the basic things you need to know to survive in WH space.

For characters in other corporations.
This is a difficult one to answer since its sort of a gray area.
There are some corporations we say yes to without a question.
Examples of these are;
RVB
EVE Uni
Faction Warfare
Own private alt corporations

For other corporations you can talk to us and explain the situation. Depending on whats going on we MIGHT say yes but there is no guarantee for this.

Hope that answered your questions, if not, please let me know either here or ingame Smile
