Bastion Skill? Why use an inherently research skill?

As this patch is only a few weeks away, i would imagine it would be far enough int he iteration to decide on an logical skill requirement for this new module.

As most characters that have trained into Marauders are also likely NOT trained into all the invention/research skills, why are you keeping with this completely unrelated skill?

I know alot of ppl are probly as anxious as me to find out if we do infact have to spend that week of training to use this 'mini-siege' module...(might make sense to have some combat related skill for this....like i don't know...Tactical Weapon Reconfiguration...which is a dang sight closer to what it does than a invention skill)

Can you please confirm soonish if you are infact continuing with the current requirement for the final version?

Why are they doing it?
Because most Marauder pilots are PvE pilots, and the devs responsible for this mess hate PVE, and anyone who does PvE.
This is just another way they can twist the knife in anyone who grinds ISK to play the game.

This is not the only ship that requires a science skill to use a module. HICs and DICs require Graviton Physics to use modules central to their class
