The cues to join eve uni, why so long?

I often remind myself of Morning Maniac's mission.

To soften the blow to assist and retain eve players.

Perhaps as the 10th Birthday approached we could have a reunion...
And for the birthday celebration open the doors to join with open arms without resistance :)
