Dear CCP,

while its great that you want to add those features and aim them at new players to support them in their difficult path through ship progression i think you are making a big mistake!
If you don't plan on having some serious discussions and changes made to the whole mastery/cert mess your new tool will misguide beginners and make them waste valuable training time.

The following screenshot is taken from an 35m sp pilot who spent 50% of his existence sitting/flying drakes and the other 50% in a tengu:

As you can see i don't even qualify for a lvl1 mastery for the tengu and only lvl2 for the drake, ships i have build my training queue around for a very long time.
The stuff currently in there is just complete madness and will NOT educate beginners in a positive way. I don't even know what to say about having drone requirements for the tengu ...

I really like the whole look and feel of the new system but in its current state the game would be better without it!

Maybe its a copy pasta placeholder for all t3's for now i dunno, does seem crazy odd to have drone skills for a tengu cert, lol

There is a logical reason for this.

T3 ships are a weird case; They do a ton of different things. They don't fit cleanly into a mastery/certificate system. So CCP deals with this by having T3 mastery require you basically be good at every conceivable configuration. The Rifling Launcher Pattern offensive subsystem does actually give the Tengu a drone bay, albeit an unimpressive one(25/50). You'll find that actually most ships with drone bays requires the Scout Drone certificate to achieve mastery.
