I had had an idea about this a while back. Choose a random c4, c4 because you cant get caps in and many people outright ignore c4s when they are rolled into, and have everyone who is anyone, or people who used to be someone, in the hole to do several different fights.

1v1, 2v2, 3v3. Frig fights, Noobship duels to the death. All the while having the real tourney going on. 10v10 AT style.

Then when it was all said and done. Each of us would pull out our heavy armor tech 3s. (Yes heavy armor) and have a gigantic orgy of destruction at the sun. No Teaming up, No backroom deals, No podding, No alliances. (Go by corp only) Just straight up pvp like bob intended. (God if only we could convince null to do this with their titans an super carriers and just call it the purge right?)

Once everything was said and done, the gudfite was had, and hundreds of tech 3s destroyed, We go back to our wormholes to gas up c320 in preparation for the spike that will happen once news that hundreds of tech 3s were destroyed in a single engagement. (Or we go back to Dota 2/ffxiv/WOT/Warthunder/insert FOM Game that isnt eve here.)

This is all a pipe dream as no one will ever convince all of wormhole space to play nice for a weekend. Nor will they convince each e peen measuring FC to allow 10s of billions in tech 3 losses on their killboard.

I think this idea has potential.

Broadly speaking, throw those format ideas out the window. If it's a W-space thing, make it a uniquely W-space thing. It's definitely something that can be done if there is enough interest in it.


The question is how much interest is there for something like this?
