Ganking/Looting in Hi-Sec

I am a pirate in hi sec. i suicide ganked someone. will my alt who is in my fleet, see the wreck as yellow or white?

Can he loot the wreck without flashing yellow to everybody else?

Your own wreck will be blue to everybody, the wreck of the person you shot will be yellow to everybody (except him and his corp).

It's pretty safe to loot one wreck, however - if you are in a small ship you can warp out before anyone has locked you, if you are in a large ship, prealign and you can get it fine.

Obviously salvage before looting if you intend to.

As a heads up, ice miners may need to be looted before salvaging. As the ice itself is too much for a single container - thus not allowing you to salvage until its contents are brought down to the level of a jetcan.

I think if you join the corp before ganking you can loot and salvage with impunity.

I'm pretty sure the OP does not want to join a corp, because he wants to be a HiSec Piwate with war-dec immunity.

I have this amazing plan for getting free salvage, ASK!!!!!

Of course this method doesn't extract nearly as many tears or miner/mission runner corpses, so its not for everyone.

Can the hauler alt loot the wreck of the victim without becoming a suspect if he is in the same fleet as the pirate?
