Yup. I was lucky, damage on mine was limited to the internal cardboard frame falling to pieces, no visible damage to the shiny things or the shiny box they arrived in.

I want to order a second so I have a pristine box still in its shrink-wrap on the shelf for the grandkids: "when I was your age, we only pretended to fly spaceships."

Had the same "Pristine on the shelf forever" idea for this one, but with the nice dent in one of the top edges i ended up opening it up.

not a single "fragile" or "handle with care" sticker to be seen :(

At times I ship items overseas with big "please handle with care" and "do not bend" stickers on them.
Sometimes I think because of those stickers my items arrive bend and not handled with care... Ugh

Yeah, mine had ripped cardboard between the cd/code box and the danger game box.

I guess it wasn't strong enough to keep the danger game in its place.

Heard a number of people have had issues within the US. Not so much from international postage though.

Scumbags at your local postal service.

Probably not much CCP can do about it.

My CE was complete and without any damage. The delivery service car looked less than...trust worthy...But it got here just fine.
I am Dutch though, so perhaps our delivery service was somewhat more careful.

For some reason I can't delete my signature o.o

I had one sent to Australia. Mine arrived unscathed.

The nice thick cardboard outer box didnt even look marked in any way.

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.

Really sorry to hear that your CE arrived damaged.

The first thing I would do is get into contact with Musterbrand, and see if they can help you out. You can find all their contact details here.

Since the EVE Store is operated by a third party, we can't assist you directly with the return of stuff that's broken, which is unfortunate in this case. Sad

You might also want to look at the returns policy for the EVE Store, and if it has arrived damaged they may be able to assist you.

You can also find out about the delivery process here. It may also be good to contact DHL with your shipping number and see what they have to say.

Really sucks that it arrived a bit mushed up. Sad

I only had slight package damage...which is the norm with UPS.

The only disappointing thing was Danger Game. The game is fun, but misprinted cards...mainly all the "wasted" ones...

Thanks for the heads up Falcon, but from all those links im basically getting the feeling of "Tough Luck". one even says we do not accept the return of damaged goods.

Dont get me wrong i still like my stuff, just wish the box wasnt damaged. It is a collectors edition after all it was bought to be special

My ass they use DHL... Much like everything I've come to expect, ignore all promises and advertising you see!

I used to have some couriers as customers.

You don't want to know what they did with the "fragile" packs.

Just to tease you a little: they threw new laptops, brand new built computers and crystal items from the trucks to the floor to save time.

And when one of them came to deliver the 5-20 brand new computers a day my company ordered from another reseller, they'd not even stop in the street. A guy in the truck's rear would just kick the new computers down from the truck bay to the ground (more than 1 meter jump) without the truck stopping.

This is just to say, DO USE MASSIVE and resilient PACKAGING material and contents, because it will be handled like it was stones anyway.

DHL European deliver here. Absolutely no issues, damage or marks. Perfect quality, even the outer cardboard shipping box.

Lol. I still remember one of my experiences with US Mail. I had ordered an information brochure. After a long wait, I receive an empty, badly damaged paper envelope in a plastic see-through envelope. The sticker on the envelope said "received empty in Detroit". No further explanation.

I showed it to my housemate... after he was done laughing, he shrugged and said 'that's why we use UPS'.

DHL Delivered here (Germany via China to Australia)

Mine arrived today in perfect condition...

Although it seems I got one of the limited edition unpainted Rifters (I now have an excuse to pull out my old model paints and make it look shmick).

On a side note, I spent a good 2 hours this afternoon reading through the CE book... What an amazing piece of work, the art and the stories, just amazing.

Anyways, I'm a very happy gamer tonight with a little piece of gaming history Big smile

Really sorry to hear that's the case. It seems like a the vast majority of the issues are from when parcels have been handed over from DHL to domestic postal services.

Sad

/Me wonders why you are so helpful here and refuse to answer a simple question about a certain promise your company made earlier this year.

I'm not going to spell that question out because I'm 100% sure you know what I 'm aiming at.
Why is it so difficult to answer to that topic and not to this one which made you dig up links on a third party website.

Why?
