Rather badly

Underlined the things that MUST change

You should probably change some the others too though

BYDI recruitment closed-ish

Please explain. I have been away from the game for a bit and would love to learn from my mistaken assumptions.

I've recently returned after a year break and the Algos is growing on me. Im certainly no expert with it yet though. Anyway...

They have ancillary armor reps now (SAAR) which are typically (but not always) better for pvp than a normal SAR.

If you must use a rep, use a SAAR. Might consider a SAR in a plated setup because it would win over a SAAR over time, but otherwise id go SAAR. Also DONT FORGET TO TURN AUTO RELOAD OFF WHEN YOU UNDOCK on your SAAR. This makes a SAAR a deathtrap otherwise. :)

I presume he means the 150s should be tech 2, but the fitting is tight - try tech 2 125s if they wont fit. If you are planning on fighting in web/scram range, 125s are just fine. If all you can fit is tech 1 guns, then tech 1 guns it is!

Cap recharger typically isnt used in pvp. A cap booster instead. But with an AB + NOS, you dont really need a cap module at all in the mids really. Since most of your damage is drone based anyway - you probably have a good amount of cap life even without any cap mod. I dont have eft here though.

The remote rep might work if you are flying with such a gang, but I would suggest a NOS or NEUT instead. If you fit a NOS you can drop the cap recharger for a web.

As for the rest - it depends on how you want to fly it.

Also - small rigs are stupidly cheap now, so you should pick some of those up. Rep rigs or cap rigs or gun damage rigs, trimarks etc. Depending on how long you have been gone - make sure to pick up the appropriate skillbooks.

Also - troll some good pilots' lossmails to find good fits. In this situation - I'd suggest Garviel's since he seems to have expertise here. :)

For small gang PVP you don't want the repairer. You simply won't hold up against more than one ship's DPS. You want a 400mm plate. With the plate you'll have trouble fitting the rails. You should probably use 75mm rails if you want rails, but some people swear by blasters and in that case use the largest ones you can fit.

Now, as far as him underlining the remote rep, I don't totally agree. A group of Algoses spider tanking can actually tank pretty well. Once flew with a gang of 5, and you won't completely nullify an equal sized opponents DPS, but you'll stretch the HP pretty far.

As for the cap recharger, get rid of it. It's trash. No good. Cap booster or scram. Cap rechargers just don't belong on PvP fits.
