Hi there,

I, like many others, enjoy solo PvP and have decided to post some videos covering the subject.

As I am brand new to video editing this first video is purely a test of format and an open forum for any pro video makers/regular viewers who would like to offer me some advice on how to improve my presentation.

In the future I would like to be able to add some commentary, work out how to actually speed up and slow down videos as well as link fits and a show some overlays explaining what is happening when I am fighting/dying horribly.

I forget to mention that I am using Sony Vegas Pro 11 for my video editing.

Let me preface this by the fact that I don't have sound at work so I don't know about the music in this video.

I'd say work on your overlays, especially the thing in the bottom left looks like a 1994 clipart word image. Make something fancy in photoshop and use that in Vegas to overlay on it :)

Personal opinion: speed up the fights more often. Some are shown needlessly long. Unless some truly cool stuff is happening (say, you fly in hard tackle range of a thorax in your vagabond and manage to not die) you don't need to have it at normal speed :) Also I don't like you pointing out mistakes we can see. If you are going to point out mistakes you make point them out in front so viewers can see what effect it has on the fight.

How do you like Vegas?

Thanks for the input Frankly.

I am new to Vegas and still have a lot to learn, like how to alter video speed for one :)

I like your idea of a pre-fight explanantion (if its relevant) so I will keep that in mind for the next videos. I highlight my mistakes as I aim to make a series out of the videos. A kind of instructional thing for newer players, highlighting that if an average pilot like me can solo then anyone can, but I take your point.

I am saving all my GF videos for when I actually know how to make a decent video using Vegas instead of wasting them in poorly edited videos (like that one)

You can right click a clip on the thingy board which has all your clips on it down there which looks like all these bars and then in properties there is playback speed.

If you figure out how to get it over 4x speed let me know.

Not bad for a first go mate, but i reckon next time honestly just dont bother putting fights in unless they are ones that really got your heart going, if you werent impressed with it yourself, viewers definitely wont be. The opening fight in a vid is always the most important imo, and a rupture ganking a corax was **** poor!

keep it up, but next time dont feel the need to rush a vid out, only keep your best clips !

7. Make sure tittle contains "360" "noscope" "trickshot"

I agree but I did start my post with the following caveat
