Intergalactic Summit

Greetings,

As CEO of the DIrect Support Initiative, I consider it my duty to give a monthly review on how DIRSI has done. These reviews are updates on how DIRSI is doing related to the corporate goals and general events that took place.

I will start by discussing the progress on the current corporate goals that can be found As stated here:

• The corporate wallet has grown to contain 300 million isk


• The following materials and quantities have been collected and will soon be transferred to the HQ station of DIRSI:
- 50,000 units of Construction Blocks
- 50,000 units of Electronic Parts
- 50,000 units of Hydrogen Batteries
- 50,000 units of Soil
- 50,000 units of Wheat

To make available aid that can be given more diverse, the following goods have been added to the stock:
- 50,000 units of Oxygen
- 50,000 units of Water
- 50,000 units of biofuels


• DIRSI is happy to welcome another capsuleer who has decided to join this organization.

On the operational front, DIRSI has seen a quit month. This is mainly caused by the loss of my personal flagship the "Midular's Dream". It was a Machariel class battleship that was specialized in combating the Sansha Incursions. The ship was lost with all hands by the unexpected attack of 6 tornado class battlecruisers. There have been no ties between the attackers and the Sansha organization. Shortly after the attack CONCORD moved in swiftly to deal with the attackers. The loss of the ship, equipment and crew is hard felt.
A new ship is currently under construction, the "Classiarii". This is a Nightmare class battleship and it will be used to battle the Sansha Incursions.

Another ship that was lost was an Oracle class battlecruiser. It was used in an operation to defend several Custom Offices in the Placid region. The owner had requested help and as there was no war between the attacker and the owner of the Custom Offices, DIRSI has provided assistance. Unfortunately the operation turned out to be hopeless as only myself and another capsuleer had shown up to assist. The other capsuleer made a navigational error and before the operation had truely began, I was facing 35 to 40 attacking ships alone. Though sniper tactics were used, I was unable to land any hits during my several attack runs.

When removing pirate and roque drone installations on my way back from the failed operation, I was intercepted by a Enyo class assault ship and the Oracle got destroyed.
