Where did it go? Am I just blind, or did it disappear from the right click menu, meaning I have to use the much slower radial menu to save random savespots?

If it is gone, bad CCP! Bad!

Ugh, I hope not....

Why would you remove functionality like that????

This functionality has never been in the right click menu for your ship. It has only been available through People and Places, and then latterly through the radial menu (as a timesaver). You can right click objects in space and save their location, but you could never do that with your own ship.

Then it was in the ship controls. Like, when you right click in the capacitor area or so.
I'm sure at least at some point there was a way to bookmark your location via context menu.

My mind is now fighting itself What?, my mind is telling me CCP Goliath is right, and remembers going through people and places, but at the same time keeps wondering if I used to have that ability and why I got it mixed up if not.

Edit: Though that might just be due to objects in space do have the option for right click > save location.

Use the radial menu, it's in there too when you select your own ship. Pretty useful.

But surely a button next to the capacitor would be cool.

This seems like one of the better uses for the radial menu, to me.

I did my research! You had me super conflicted about if it existed or not, possibly to the extent of creating false memories in my brain! Then after consulting many developers, we established it was all a dream...

You did the same to me Lol

But I think I got it confused between right clicks on objects in space, and right click on myself.
Though that leaves the question: Why don't we have that option in the right click on ourself, could be a handy thing. But the radial suffices I suppose, less clutter in the right click menu.Blink

Edit: With consulting many developers, do you mean shouting at those in shouting range, and them shouting back? Lol

If you press and hold the left mouse button on something, a radial will appear with things!

If the time taken to open the radial menu is too long for you, you can always change the interval in the general settings tab of the ESC menu.

I, too, am a victim of the nightmare that made me believe the "Make bookmark" function was available by right-clicking the capacitor while in space. I believe this was present some time proximate to Trinity, back in the days when probing involved dropping the appropriate type of probe at carefully bookmarked locations in space. It disappeared before Apocrypha.

Of course I am only suffering under the delirium of a nightmare inspired by one of the Old Ones. Perhaps that last memory implant I acquired wasn't of the most pristine origin.

I can't even get the radial menu to pop up on my own ship.

IDK, never cared for it anyway, but right click "save my location" would be awesome.

How about you just tell those developers to add this basic functionality. Because there's no reason it shouldn't exist.
