I was hoping someone would bring that up

What I see more is older players not giving a rats arse and just bailing out of this game.

While it was very dumb, it is a symptom of how sick people are getting of CCPs stupid ideas and rulings.

CCP has chosen to break its own EULA for Somer, can you not expect people to do the same?

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

It not so much that sold his plex on ebay, its more the fact that he set out to deliberately screw over other Eve players for what, to prove a point?

The only point he has proven is what a massive ***** he is.

If you have a problem, fine, cry about it, post on forums, blogs what ever, quit for all I care, but why set out to screw over other players?

Selling plex cheap screws over players no more than Somer does giving away bonus isk. Both are wrong and as you say they screw over the player base

But as I said this problem is running deep with some players and this is just another sign, that the apple is rotten at the core.

How is he screwing over people? If anything he is showing CCP some more dumb people that bought PLEX on Ebay. They deserve to lose their **** for thinking this was okay.

I personally play EVE for the friends I have in game.

People quiting over this Somer Blink ordeal obviously dont have alot of friends ingame because they wouldnt just drop them like a brick over something CCP did that only very indirectly affects them.

Well, it had to happen at some point.

Let's be honest, Poe is a reasonably smart individual, but he is also troubled.

He has always been quick to overestimate his own abilities and think the worst of others; quick to don the tinfoil; quick to start the drama train. It wasn't just to get more views for his blog; he has been like that forever.

There was a reason he was kicked out of E-Uni. And it shows here again, a slightly petulant, narcisistic, self-destructive behaviour. I bet he once destroyed his Christmas gifts to punish his parents because they had done him some wrong. Ah well, a shame. He was quite capable on his better days.

Well, the drama llama moves to other pastures, burning the bridge behind him.

Well they shouldn't be buying plex on ebay in the first place.

When I enter into an agreement with someone (CCP, other players) I honor it.

I have a hard time respecting someone who doesn't. They made the call on what their word was worth, so be it.

He decided to try and burn CCP to make a point, he decided to burn those that did real world business with him to put a spot light on his efforts.

To be honest I really don't care what happens, but I'll watch to see what happens. When his buyers accounts get banned and reversed, and if CCP contacts eBay to see what can be done to his eBay account, I'll simply point out that he and his buyers made poor choices and will have to deal with the consequences.

At the end of the day this won't affect me one way or another, but it might just get more entertaining before it's done.

You know people play other games too, right?

There's also this place called real life, where you can go to meet your friends in person.
