ill keep it simple, can anyone tell me witch of the following is true. preferably with some proof to back it up please.

"Skills that affect drone damage, health and speed are only taken from the carrier pilot providing fighters, someone controlling them only uses the Drones skill and nothing else."
taken from http://www.eveinfo.net/wiki/ind~1130.htm#Using_Assigned_Fighters

"When you assign someone fighters, whoever you assigned them to has THEIR Fighter skill applied to YOUR fighters, so if they have not trained Fighters then YOUR fighters do base damage only."
taken from http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Capital_Ships_101

im not sure why the first page wont fully link but copy and pasting that works.

As far as I'm aware, it counts the owner's skill, not the designated pilot.

Little edit: bonuses from hulls are not applied when the fighters are assigned though (Nyx damage bonus for example).

The eve info link is wrong on lots of levels. NO skills afffect fighters other than Fighters and Gallente carrier bonuses. The carrier bonuses are lost when assigned but the fighters' attributes are otherwise unchanged when assigning them.
