October turned out to be a beast of a month.
I didn't think I'd be able to make it, but it's starting to look like I will after all, although I'll probably be a little late. I'll have my girlfriend with me, and regrets from Jemarcon; he was recently informed that he'll be working tomorrow instead of taking a road trip for pizza, beer and spaceships.

Ok, update: i wont be able to make it this time.. I would love to hear about it when everyone gets back. How many showed up, etc... Also love to go ahead and plan the next one.. Perhaps the next one can be near Raleigh. Also if we could do these every 3 months or so.. i would like to host the 3rd one here in Wilmington, NC.. I look forward to coming to the 2nd one!!

Meeting met. Beer was drank and pizza was consumed along with garlic knots. CSM/CCP related questions were deflected. Pics will be up on imgur when I can find a one hour photo to develop the film so I can scan the negatives. The chairman of the CSM made obligatory "PEW-PEW' noises while holding a USB Rifter.

(Film, because I couldn't find my digital point and shoot but I could find a roll of Fuji Superia 400. . . yes, I am a Luddite)

Hey everyone had a good time we had a decent turn out for our first of hopefully many Eve meet ups.


Gonna start thinking about our next little gathering, I am thinking in the Raleigh area after the holiday's need suggestions.

as for a meet up in Raleigh....there are plenty of bars to choose from.....you have kickback jacks....Buffalo Wild Wings....you guys just pick something and a date and lets try to get it going.

FanU, great would you be willing to organize, basically picking a place and time. We are trying to rotate around NC. We did Charlotte in October and want to do Raleigh this time.
