Sure, but why is my launcher/client not updating then? I think that's the issue some of us may be having?

The following Solved the issue for me i'm able to log in and such now.

The most generic cause of the launcher or repair tool stop downloading, that is halting at 5% - 10% - 15% etc. is that the launcher / repair tool is working with outdated download and version information. This can be caused by numerous issues such as proxies, transparent proxies and third party programs to name a few.

First off make sure that your router/modem/firewall supports HTTP 1.1 and the option to utilize HTTP 1.1 is enabled.


You should be able to fix this by manually / force refreshing the following URL's in your browser.

Open these URL's in your normal browser and when displayed press CTRL+F5

http://client.eveonline.com/patches/repair_info.txt
http://client.eveonline.com/patches/win_launcherinfoTQ_inc.txt
When you've done so try start the launcher to see if that doesn't work. if it doesn't try the repair tool again.

    fixed now, althought it took the time to warp through barkrik to register "client data" when logging into char screen, just so you know :)

    new update and seems to work again.. Just wondering how the hell did rotten upgrade get throw all QA protocols to customers in first place? Someone should be shot for this (Ingame of course)..
