Hessian, I'm leaving that up to the forum moderators.

Just didn't know if you knew that's all Big smile

But I really must say, this really is a fantastic thread. One of my RL mates is a recruiter for a large corp and I forwarded this to him. He's been recruiting for a few years now and even he admitted there were certain things that had not crossed his mind.

It's human nature to want to explore. To find your line and go beyond it. The only limit, is the one you set yourself.

That is awesome!
Please let him know that if there are things that is not included in the guide, or he feels should be mentioned, that he can let me know either here or via EVE mail so it can be included Smile

I shall indeed pass on the message for you.

4) Check their killboard. Yes, even for industrial characters who state that they never PvP.

Look for questionable kills. If they have kills against their own corp members, you may be looking at an awoxer. If they have losses in shuttles/rookie ships with dozens of PLEXes in the hold, you may be looking at an ISK launderer.

First off, brilliantly done.

I would like to add here that a lot of people who kill corp members are not likely to post those kills to the various killboards. I've added the KillLog as a requirement when I request API keys, makes it a bit more difficult to hide.

This is now included in the guide.
Due to space limitations I made a note about it under the final notes section (post 4/5), its a good advice and I wish i had thought about it before!
So thank you, much appreciated Big smile

Great Guide. I've added Reddit and Eve Uni to my Corp Advert locations as well.

Great post and I wouldn't mind flying with you guys sometime in the future.

Good advice. I can't count the number of corps that I reject because they hit the "lowsec" or "nullsec" filter in their corp advertisement, and then say they live in highsec mining. Or vice versa.

It makes a good idiot filter for me, as a prospective applicant, but if you want recruits, don't do this.

Updated with information about Eve Spies, a site that allows you to report thieves, awoxers and similar, but keep in mind that if you want to report a person here you need to provide a screenshot. The site seems very small at the moment, but i think it can become a very handy tool for any recruiter if it keeps expanding Smile

Guide is super nifty NC, just like you!

P.S. Recruiting the right people is hard. Mad props to all the recruiters out there that manage to pull it off.

For checking API keys, jackknife (Google code) is universally popular.

With regards to recruitment methods, you omit good old vouch-based recruitment (only accept recruits that already have a friend in your corp who can vouch for their integrity and qualification, if they mess up the person who vouched for them may face repercussions) which is pretty popular in some 0.0 alliances.
