Hi all,

I'm looking for a turret based ship to accompany my Ishtar (used for scanning) in low-sec ded sites.
I would prefer Cruiser sized ships, as they're agile and can move trough low easely.

I am currently working in serpentis space, but I'll probably move once in a while.

(Also, serp 6/10 is a pain in the ass due to neuting.. I'mn ot sure if there's a passive shield fit turret based ship?)

All cruisers or HACs are options. Proteus/Loki aswel, but not skill-heavy on drones.
No Command ships yet, unless it's "the way to go" I can train them.

A rails proteus but I would not recommend it for the 6/10. I believe you can do a passive shield tanked Loki but it may need to be pimped

Active rail deimos is what I would use for a turret based ship, but a cerb would be my first choice without a doubt.

best handled with cap boosters, or with warpouts (on stage one). Other good method for dealing with neuts is to fit a 1600mm plate, giving you more time between warpouts.

None of the cruiser gunships are ideal for exploration. Against serpentis deimos is probably the most ideal. One of the upsides is you can pvp-fit it without losing your effectiveness as supplemental DPS in the plex, and it doesn't require expensive mods to be effective.
