You see, the thing about Diana Kim is that she's technically Disenfranchised. She does not enjoy the support of one of the Mega corporations, she is simply a contractor for the State Protectorate.

This means that her crew are ALSO technically Disenfranchised, with no Mega corporation to intercede on their behalf. They are, quite literally, without the normal rights a State citizen would enjoy. When they join Diana's 'company' she becomes the sole arbiter of their guilt or innocence. She has the right to declare them traitors to the State and execute them, at least in Low Security space.

Now, to be sure, she has a duty to provide a frame work of laws and the apparatus of enforcement, but if she gets a bit carried away, there really is no recourse under law.

Incorrect. And in future retain yourself from speaking about me, if you value your honor.

Anti-provist rats, that were found in my crew, were executed as traitors according to Caldari Navy wartime regulations.

As a capsuleer, you no longer hold an active Navy Commission.

I think I asked you to stop... but since you want to stay dishonored, let it be so.
You mix half true with half lie, to speak about matters you don't understand, and that involve others.
The fact is, I can prove to any loyal citizen, that you are wrong, by simply displaying an item (or even two).
I could even display them to you, if you would have asked instead of making assumption.
But now - I won't, because after this I don't trust you.
And I don't trust you by two reasons.

1. You are not loyal enough for my trust.
Your name was mentioned in a couple of cases about anti-State activity, and I don't know even if you still have a citizenship or not. You are often vocal about enmity towards Caldari Heroes. You betrayed ideals of ancestors, ideals of new meritocracy and our supreme commander. Thus by displaying you sensitive information, Im risking leaking it to the enemy.

2. You are trolling too much for my trust.
Instead of discussing ideas, actions, regulations and approach, you decided to discuss the author - myself. You have stated several opinions about me, that weren't supported by facts, and were incorrect. Yes, instead of asking me about myself, you simply pour out your groundless guesses, that were targeted against me. Thus, if I display you real information about myself, you will either misinterpret it, or simply use it as is against me.

So, you wanted it - you got it. Enjoy staying in ignorance.

My loyalty to the State isn't generally questioned by State Loyalists. In the past I've always noticed that it is generally those who question the loyalty of others who turn out to be the guilty ones.

As for my own credentials, I am a loyal Kaalakiota citizen. The CEP have praised my loyalty. The CPD praised my loyalty. Admiral Visera Yanala, herself, took time to praise my loyalty before the third battle of Caldari Prime. Even the former-Executor interceded on my behalf in an impertinent lawsuit. I believe my loyalty to the State is proven through service (from birth) and distinction.

In fact, if there was a secret police monitoring everything and taking people away for interrogation right now, you would be in far more danger than I. Almost everything you say is a criticism of the CEP, the Okusaiken and our traditions.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Immortal investors openly employed and supplied by the Corporate Police Force (you're free to check standings if you have issue) willingly supply Miss Kim with further war assets and empower her cause despite the many delusional Caldari immortals' opinions within this channel. Further more, contrary to what all you would continue to believe, Miss Kim and every one of us are further rewarded by the State for our efforts and our outspoken views.

Certainly not the mega-corporations directly but perhaps there are more people expressing support for her and those like her than you'd like to consider?

Why, the other day you would not guess who came up to me and expressed extreme support for further actions with Miss Kim: a representative of one of Lai Dai's capsuleer fronts.

I think it is about time you all wake up and realize your pretty little State actually is actually not so anti-Heth as you'd like to believe. Even moreso, I find the State is expressing more favor in Miss Kim's efforts recently with her standing increases than anyone else of you here.

My… the lot of you really are cute.

Not entirely. How else are you recognized in any official capacity within New Eden? Surely much of it is pointless recognition, even worthless. Yet perhaps it is the empire base of the SoCT and the Jove elements that are behind managing the Assembly and the upkeep of CONCORD that find your efforts noteworthy. After all, further investigation into those sects and you'll see the people manning those organizations are not actually Jovians.

As for the Empress's personal opinion, unless we see a personal standing of Empress Jamyl Sarum toward you of positive nature I believe such claims are false. Until then, it is merely her people who find you noteworthy.

And even that standing is based on your actual actions, not those claimed to be. What you claim to speak for and what you actually do are something any of us will happily point out.

Please stop trolling. Big smile

How to explain the difference between standings and citizenship...

Let me put it this way. If your standings reached 100 and all eight of the Okusaiken gathered together and held a little party declaring you their very favouritest pet killer you still wouldn't be a citizen.

My citizenship is worth infinitely more to me than my rank of Wing Commander, a rank which means the State Protectorate holds me in the very same value as they hold Wing Commander Kim-haani.

In terms of veterancy, I believe Miss Kim DOES contend you then, Mister Tuulinen. Regardless of her ability to command immortals, amongst the mortals, she is clearly valued. Should this be who is actually featured on the holoreels, or within who is more famously known to be prowling opposing mortal vessels, or witnessed from the windows of those manning the complexes.

You, and her, are valued by someone.

And while you are a immortal and a citizen, this makes you no more qualified than she is to speak on behalf of the mortals.

You should remember your place.

P.S. Something to remember: At one point, Heth was a savior of all Caldari's underclass. A people long felt forgotten after the Corporate elite opened more doors since the first war with the Gallente. Now, even with his crimes, those same people who all rose up across the State to riot where only Heth could silence (peacefully) feel even more alone. As much as you consider them meaningless now since the corporate elite are once again in power, remember that they're still there: your people. And when it comes to who out of the championing immortals is more followed on the holofeeds across the State, I would not even dare to try to contend with Miss Kim.

She is a hero amongst so many you and your elite would condemn by labeling their hero a terrorist. I'm sure the masses are counting down to when your clone fails to reanimate.

EDIT: Fixed a few typos and added the PS. Post was rushed as I was exchanging fire with Federation fighters outside Innia. Forgive me.

Living in the past are we, dear? This is the here and now, any support among the populace Tibus Heth may have once had was long gone once he showed his true colours: A hypocrite who in wishing to hold on to power ordered the massacre of Kaalakiota workers who sought nothing more than to object to management failures and worker conditions in Kaalakiota (both things the CPD promised to advocate). In fact, what legitimacy is there in a man who decries the, "corporate elite" at the armour forge in Piak when trying to protest worker conditions, and the attempts by Home Guard to kill those workers for their protests, who then proceeds to order Home Guard to massacre Kaalakiota workers for protesting the same under his leadership?

Hypocrisy and lies aren't the talents and merits I look for in a leader, and neither is it what most in the State look for either.

If all you have is ignorant supposition to justify an equally ignorant position, then all that you have is nothing at all.

Pilot Dea I must question why you choose to throw in your lot with the likes of Diana Kim? Please go back and re-read what your comrade in arms had to say about anyone who is not Caldari or Amarr. She is a pathological xenophobe who believes in the biological inferiority of those of us born in the Federation or Republic. Do you really wish to be associated with a creature such as Kim who is mocked and reviled even among her own people?

Kim does not represent the interests of the State or its citizens. She is a Provist, loyal only to her Dear Leader, Tibus Heth. She places the glorification of a single man above the good of an entire society and as such (at least from my admittedly limited knowledge of the State) seems to be the exact opposite of a loyal Caldari citizen.

I would advise you not to ally yourself too closely with her.

I've really been trying to avoid getting involved in this discussion as it doesn't pertain to me more than indirectly, but certain claims and statements need to be corrected.

Isis Dea wrote:

"Immortal" investors do not represent the will of the State, nor do any of us for that matter. Any one of us could have backings and support from any number of other capsuleers and it would be completely irrelevant in relation to the governmental bodies around the cluster.

As for our "standings" with the aforementioned governmental bodies and their subsidiaries: standings represent work done for, or in support of, a single entity. Any one of us, regardless of our motivations or ideals, could gain standings and reputation with any other entity simply by performing tasks for that entity at our own leisure.

Isis Dea wrote:
I think it is about time you all wake up and realize your pretty little State actually is actually not so anti-Heth as you'd like to believe.

Read the news coming from within the State and you'd realize how absolutely ridiculous this assertion is. Read my above statements if you need further clarification. The will of capsuleers do not represent the will of the State - the State is quite clearly taking action against its former Executor.

Isis Dea wrote:

Incorrect for the same exact reasons as everything else you've claimed is incorrect. The "State Protectorate" is a capsuleer militia that operates as a separate entity from the Caldari State and the Caldari Navy. Members of the State Protectorate are treated as contract employees within a private military organization operating under legal sanction from CONCORD.

In summary:

Your entire argument is based on fallacious assumptions regarding 'standings' and how they relate to actual governmental entities and their subsidiaries.

Even more ridiculous given the fact that I have actually enjoyed faster standings increases with the State Protectorate than Kim-haani recently - else I, a relative rookie, would never have caught up with her in rank.

Honestly, Isis, standings don't have the importance you seem to vest in them.

Actions and personal recognition from those entities and individuals. You could have perfect standings with the Amarr Empire and still be nothing more than a capsuleer identification number as far as they're concerned. You clearly understand this principle as the rest of your argument uses it for the basis of your claims.

In other words, standings are absolutely meaningless, easily manipulated and irrelevant to a person's "official" recognition with any single entity.

Isis Dea wrote:

Conjecture and therefore worthless in debate.

Again an incorrect assumption based on standings. Her standings and rank within the State Protectorate are irrelevant to the State at large. It is far more likely that most "mortals" don't even know who she is outside of what they read on these very communication boards.

Isis Dea wrote:

There are so many presumptions and arrogant assertions in this little gem that I am having trouble finding a place to start. Again, the news coming from within the State would make it clear to you that the supposed "underclass" you're referencing have been more than involved in the riots and uprisings against Tibus Heth, including his wanton destruction of vessels containing Kaalakiota employees protesting peacefully. Also, a review of Tibus Heth's history would point out that "peacefully" silencing opposition was never his method of operation.

Furthermore, you are making a grand assumption and affording Tuulinen-haan an extreme disservice by claiming that he considers anyone within the State "meaningless" and you'll be hard-pressed to find anything he's said or done lending credence to this assertion. You may also wish to provide some form of legitimate proof to your claim that Kim-haani is so popular among the "mortals" because this is the third time you've made such a claim without any proof of it, you're beginning to sound more like a starstruck fangirl than anyone with a legitimate leg to stand on in the field of debate.
