Is it allowed to trade isk vs other games items/currencies ?

Not outside of CCP forums but on here ?

I want to buy Diablo 3 gold against some of my isk.

Are there players that would do that, and also is it allowed by CCP ? Or "tolerated" ?

Do it at your own risk. I am leaning toward a zero tolerance stance from CCP on any kind of trade.

in this case you have to separate the action from the reason to understand what you're asking. ISK transfers are not against ToS/EULA, but paired with certain reasons it can be. There are times when you can do something and unless you state the reason, no one will know if what you're doing is legal or illegal. I'm not saying 'yeah do it' in fact I'm only in here to give you that bit of irl advice. lol as soon as I saw the thread title I couldn't click it fast enough.

Thanks for the feedback.

I didn't see anything in the stickies anywhere about this. But maybe I didn't look hard enough. Would be pretty cool to get an answer from CCP on this.

I had a chat with someone and that person said that currently if you get d3 gold from iso, you can put it up on the Real Money Auction House, hence you can transform iso into real money which is why CCP would disallow it. And that is totally understandable.

But in March Blizzard is terminating the AH and the RMAH, so there won't be any ways of abusing this anymore, so maybe at that point CCP would regard it as a non threatening trade ?
