Though i always was a big fan of Nelson Piquet, i have to admit that Keke Rosberg was pretty much the coolest driver i've seen. He was the real man in the great 80's. The super mustache of coolness is unbeatable.

Mikka Hakkinen and Kimi Raikkonen only prove that Finland is a nice country.

/praise Keke

Miss so much the real drivers... Keke Rosberg, Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell and Ayrton Senna.... Not these scared puppets we have nowadays in that dead sport.

Honestly F1 has gone down hill a lot in the last 20 years.

It's lost all its characters and become so tied up in the rules and "team orders" to prove interesting.

I blame Bernie "the dancing dwarf" eccleston for all this... oh and that crypto german national socialist group wannabe Max Mosley for the downturn.

Too much greed, not enough showmanship.

I agree 100%. The sport itself is dead. Its like computers driving the car on rails while the driver has to steer it. Too much money destroys really everything.

That's why the only sports i still like are the olympic games because at least they are also defending their country. Money hasn't totally destroyed the olympic spirit. Yet.

But my F1... died with Senna in 94 i think.

Awesome tribute to Keke here with TOTO lyrics

My countrymen getting some love.

It's always fun when Häkkinen and Räikkönen answer questions in the least amount of words possible. Foreigners don't really understand the quietness.

Yea i would say Raikonnen is whats left of the real drivers. Not only for his driving skills in a poor Lotus but mainly for his personality.

Relevant song.

But to be more serious, he was very good driver. I have lot of respect for him.

No Nigel Mansell not on the list? I'm American and don't know much about F1, but I watched it when I was in Japan. Mansell always seemed pretty cool to me. And Sena of course.
