Any respect I had for Victor Hark and his young alliance, Black Talon just went down the drain with the recruitment of OP. He's just way baaaaaaaaaaad.

Speaking of which, OP's new alliance outsourced their FC and Nisuwa sovereignty campaign to former Gallente Militia corp, SOTF. Apparently, they don't have their own FCs to take a Gallente home system so they hire former Gallente. Irony.

That is at least from my POV. Of course you have other views.

It's fair to say as a grunt it's hard to get the bigger picture sometimes, but from my end of the keyboard the above (while oversimplistic for sake of digestibility) is how it seemed. If you re read our comments together I think youll see we are telling the same story in a different language. Either way, good fights.

Yeah the militias temp blueing to kill pies has been going on for years (I've done it too for some cap kills). Snuff bridge in and interrupt a lot of FW fights so ganging up on them is pretty standard procedure Big smile. Some people disapprove, and they're certainly welcome to their opinion.

... but terrible at eve, which is why no one has ever asked him or IBS for a temp blue i guess.

i wonder how their new overlords, Tekitha and Lock Out respond to his role playing in this respect.

I'm not sure if anyone has explained this to you yet... Oops

you aren't in 0.0,
and ultimately, capturing systems really doesn' t matter

The only good reasons to be in FW are the fights and the isk.

Fights and system capturing are in no way related
and if you know what you're doing, the real isk in FW is when you're side is losing all their systems. Blink

In other words...

Welcome to Faction Warfare, where your zone of control is determined by how many farmers you have. PvP skill is almost irrelevant for warzone control, aside from IHUB bashes and keeping things safe for the farmers.

Oh, and for any Nullsec alliance intereted in the "Farms and Fields" concept, come on down to Black Rise and see it in action.

Good thing we're in it for the isk, the fights are optional, we get enough PvP anyways with the whole of eve coming by regularily.

Now take a guess what increases our ISK/hr rapidly. Yes, warzone control. We are winning.

Against pirates there are only friends and allies Smile

Besides, inter-militia cooperation when faced with an external foe is as old as FW so nothing new, reckon the "easy" call was TEST as they probably have the required bodies available at a moments notice and have just the one contact requirement whereas a general call for co-op will involve more egos than Hollywood and usually decidedly grab bag hulls

+1 to Greg01 for successfully upsetting Deen & Crosi in one post.

<3 Greg01. An amazing human being with an undoubted talent for bringing out the best in his bro's and the worst in his enemies.

Well, I guess that's where the problem lies in - calling out an entity which only joined FW for purposes of farming and re-building their bruised self-confidence while maintaining nullsec mentality in all the wrong ways. I mean, if you just read all the comments coming from testies you can see that they have absolutely no idea how general FW dynamics have been playing out for past two years, they can't seem to accept the fact that people don't really give a sheet about 'sov', they don't understand that we've (galmil) been through this before (and will be again many times over once they are long out of FW), they would never think of fleeting up with us to get some nice capital kills etc, etc. As for their love for CalMil 'bros' - I'm looking forward to talking to squiddies about their brotherhood in a month or two.

While I'm not a big fan of pies, I see them as an integral part of our lowsec "biosphere". Hence, I'd call out to Balex or Snuff or SC to help drop on testie fleet rather then vice versa on any given day.

Yep. They've been in FW for a whole 5 minutes, while some of us have been at this for four years.

It's the "normal" cycle of FW... One side gains most of the systems and surges to T4. Other side regroups and then the "winning" side realizes what a massive PITA it is to hold all those systems, and the pendulum starts to swing back...

Meanwhile....we get to break old monthly kill records Twisted

"Winning" is a very relative term. You're increasing your warzone control, but realistically speaking you should already have done your coordinated LP dump to bump yourself into Tier 3 - which would increase your isk/hour by 75%.. You've started losing systems again (hi, Indregulle!) and even though you've managed to farm 20+ systems into vulnerable status you only managed to flip a couple over the weekend.

In short, your initial burst of activity pared back GalMil control to the systems we can readily patrol and control, and we've got decent enough intel on your fleets to kick your teeth in most times when you head out for a hub bash. Not all the time, of course, and there's really no way we can stop you from keeping systems vulnerable if you really want to make the push. Numbers make a difference and all that.

Though it was delicious seeing the CalMil tears in Innia local crying about GalMil blobbing, given you had far more in local than we did.

On the flip side, GalMIl morale is pretty high at the moment. We're getting tons of fights, and we have managed to defend critical systems quite well. We never had the goal of controlling the entire warzone, and don't care so much about which tier we're in because we don't have the same fiscal pressures of rebuilding cap fleets and whatnot. Once the mass of TESTies complete their farming binge and head back out, we'll make another push and get back to where we were. After all - we live here, you're just tourists.

Hope you enjoy your vacation in Black Rise!
