UC logic makes digitizers, for both touch and stylus varieties. very high quality stuff. as for making a huge TV digitizer, it would be a way to have your own horizontal smart table.

I support touch screens for Eve.


It will add another layer to my satisfaction to know that people are punching their monitors in addition to throwing their keyboards when I **** them off.

imo, touch is not a good interface for EVE. I've tried EVE on a Cintiq--the display tablet from Wacom--and due to the lack of tactile feedback of buttons or mouseclicks, combined with the client's standard delay between module activation and visual feedback, I found myself single-clicking or double-clicking when I meant to do the opposite. There were also erroneous clicks from proximity. I stopped the experiment after 30 seconds or so; far too inconsistent, unreliable. unsuitable even for PVE--missions or mining.
