I got a bunk bed at travel lodge straight opposite the bar, for £100 double room

Oh you have picked one of the most busiest family nights in the year for this in the UK
I wonder if EVE Vegas would have ever been run at Thanksgiving weekend

you're not wrong, but on saturday it we wont just be there in the evening, we'll be here pretty much all day! plus a lot of us will be in the pub on the friday too!

honestly eve player meets are genuinely great! you may feel a little nervous at your first but honestly no one minds people hanging about, diving into convos, introducing themselves, chances are most people will ask if ur here for the eve blob player meet and the usual exchange of pleasantries and handshakes / manly hugs etc occur.

you soon realise people do check their egos at the door and we all get along, regardless of in game affiliations or ongoing feuds and wars! its very humbling and refreshing that u can walk into a room full of strangers initially and walk away at the end of the night having had a great laugh and a great time!

plus as the player meets grow in size and experience CCP brings moar goodies! i cant wait for another drunken karaoke night!
