No offense, but if you are both in favor of radically changing wh space, then you have a prime indicator that it's time to get out of the CSM. There's plenty of old and good ideas that are desired by the masses that you need to get in the game. The radically change crap - forget it. First off where's the discussions on radical change in this forum to let us users that you are representing weigh in on your ideas. (like the wh site stealer garbage) HELLO, we need to change subsystems in a pos - STICK TO THE PLAN!
I want a change for wspace similar to what Incursions did for Highsec, what Inferno did for Lowsec, what Retribution did for both of those, what Odyssey did for nullsec.

Quality of life improvements are good, they should continue, but they do not make up for focused iteration.

did i say alone anywhere in my post? if so i do apologize, we all know no one does things alone in WH space anymore.

While it is true that you didn't say alone, I was pointing out that each of the corps in kill are alone the majority of the time. Lead farmers can manage 20-30 dudes on a good day. HK can manage 20-30 dudes on a good day. (More if we are gassing.) So I have said it hundreds of times, I will say it again. If you find yourself with 20 peeps in fleet and you roll into HK or lead farmers, set bait, ready the trap, and let us bite. Scanning orcas in a neutral Corp on the hole worked really well for bitten... 5 times.

Maybe stop doing this? It adds to the "risk aversion". Often times we get an engagement, then ask who they were after winning/losing. Wormhole prima donnas calculate too much these days. They think if they lose a fight to someone noteworthy, it'll be hung over their heads or they feelsbadbro.

Fight. Ask questions later.

QT,

One question back for you. As one of the largest, if not the largest single WH corps, do you think it helped or hurt the situation by joining an alliance? It seems to me that big alliances simply reduce potential targets in WH space.

I personally like our bros in kill. At the same time I personally would have preferred being on our own. More targets that way. But I didn't make those calls. I just shoot ****.

As for skylian dunking us, they always fight us when we roll in. Much respect to those guys. Last time I killed thier carrier with my dread this time they killed ours. One for one I say. Keep up the good work skylian.

Thanks, we like fighting with you guys, and it's even now, also as you said "one for one" we're even now. Thanks, i hope more groups decide to go our way, it's really not hard and numbers are not much different in most of the situations, that farming fleet could reship in some PVP ships, and give it a try, it doesn't have to be something shiny, but you have to start somewhere..

You don't know the reasons, and you can't talk about them if you weren't there or don't know anything, so please, leave the guessing out of forums..The numbers were mostly even 25-30ish on both sides, and we are not taking fights "only when we outnumber our opponents", we are taking lots of fights, and you can't talk about them, because you don't know it. I think you don't know much about us, and if you feel like checking our fights, feel free to.

I'm with Gnaw on this one. Everyone needs to stop being softc**** and actually participate in the game rather than treating every potential engagement as a corp ending event. We're in Wspace for crying out loud! What is lost can easily be replaced.

As I recall we never promissed a fight.. I simply took the risk of jumping to see what would happen.. and I got burned for it.. unless you are talking about a different encounter..

But anyway.. how about I rephrase it.. during that fight with Hard Knocks you still felt you had a reasonable chance to win the fight corect? You still had the numbers to take them on correct? See.. thats the differance between my corp and yours.. I don't have those those numbers.. we are just a smaller group looking for fun..

I enjoy uphill battles sure.. but when there is a numerical superiority that makes it suicide to try.. I'm not doing it!

Yes, I miss judged the battlereport I admit. However, my point still stands.. you had the numbers where the majority would not have had. Thats what QT seems to be griping about.. that there are not as many groups like you guys around anymore it seems.. for better or worse..

To be precise, the grand total of ships on each side was 23. I recorded the fight (it will be published on YT if my directors allow it). HK would have fielded more ships if we hadn't messed up their K162, and we thought they would - so we got ready.

Frankly, I was sort of disappointed. I expected a 2h frenzy.

Maybe next time?

Your members did exactly a day or two before you got jumped by us, in that C4, where we came with kitchen sink and got a local message "no thanks, your blob is bigger than ours, and we didn't wanted to just kill and pod that brutix and geddon on the hole.. Anyway, you never know if you are going to win or loose in wormholes, and the numbers were pretty even, we didn't thought that, or had any better chances then theirs, they also had a Moros on the other side that was ready to jump, but it didn't, those numbers were on weekend, i guess you have your active days also, last time i was in your wh, some of yours responded, it's not our best time, not much of us online, but there were 7 active on pos +2 cloaked, so what should i think, am not sure.. Well ofcourse noone is asking you to go 3vs30, but you can give it a try sometimes, i guess.. Yes it is true, we have some numbers that are notable, and those numbers came up recently, formed up a good team, that plays well together, we had less numbers recently against some larger groups, but still came up and fought em, and still win. But usually people underestimated us because we weren't like that always.. Try using that card maybe..

My "gripe" isnt about the fact that no one will bring fights. People fight all the time... when they feel like it. But that there are "pvp" groups who will roll a hole on someone when they want to fight. I have seen, on dozens of occasions, groups roll because they want to do home sites. Or there is an instrumental or someone is wanting a move a cap in through another null or low and doesnt want to liability of having a major pvp entity connected. (Im sorry, but can you please pull your balls out of your purse and play this game?)

Anyone will PVP if they are in the mood for it. But its the groups that HAVE numbers, and HAVE ships, but REFUSE to fight cause they have home sites about to expire. Or they have carriers in harms way.

In short, im beating a dead horse here, get out of those mindsets you get into sometimes and pull yourselves up into your prots and legions and come shoot us. For the rest of you, try taking us on sometimes. You will see that we can be beaten. (Sometimes laughably easily)

Not that I'm expert on WH life, but judgung by this (and many others) thread it seems that there are two major reasons relatively large W-space fights occur:
1) Both sides want to fight for the sake of fighting. It may or may not be specifically staged, but what's really the difference (aside from possibility to downship or even out numbers)?
2) One side evicts another because the latter would not fight for the sake of fighting. No comments here.

I don't know about you guys, but it seems to me that there's no meaning to be found here besides just spending some time doing what you like. The thing is, stuff we like tend to become old and boring as time passes, and it's been like what, 5 years already?..
