I don't understand all that moaning about animations and super special t2 ship models. They are subtle and that's cool. The models and textures are very nice too imo, the are up to date at least! Instead of even more sophisticated and expensive t2 ship animations I'd rather prefer remodeled t1 ships like cruisers or frigs. Compared to new hulls even the cool looking old hulls look outdated in terms of model details and quality imho. Not to speak of ships like the Bantam or the Moa.

I also would really love some more homogeneity in texturing. As mentioned before, the Bustard (for example) looks quite different compared to new Lai Dai ships like Golem or Manticore. I only can guess this is because of the older models. Same for Ishukone (Rhea vs. the other) or Khanid (grey Damnation vs. nice black Sacrilege). Check the front section and overall texture quality of the Harbinger and compare it to the Oracle...and so on. An update on this front would have much more impact for a lot of players.

I just realized the Golem is missing the big arch shaped thing on the starboard wing thing with the antennas that the Raven has.. it makes it look empty and incomplete.

To be honest, I have flown the golem in the past, nearly max skilled for it and the paladin. I stopped using it because of its crooked flight patten, and the asymmetrical look just got on my nerves. After a few dozen missions, I just couldn't stand to look at it. It didnt even fly on its center-line, the golems center of movement is off to the right side. When I heard they were redesigning it, I really was looking forwards to that. I hoped it would be symmetrical like the rokh, and had plans to start flying it again. However, after seeing what the new one is, its permanently scratched off my list of ships to use.

The Paladin is beyond incomplete here. I'm fairly sure that it's not supposed to be a Blood Raider Apoc trying to pass itself off as a T2 ship.

This response is also related to Golem, isn't it? I've noticed that mask in red channel is missing and whole ship is painted black by accident?

ps: plz dont fix it Roll

Is it just me, or is the Kronos slightly different?

i do like the mid segment of the golem but since the wings are "up" i feel there is something missing compared to the raven hull...
i'd really like them to have something there ...

Yeah, I do miss all the sensor bits under the one side of the normal Raven model.

My biggest problem with the Golem is that it looks small and toylike for some reason. The Raven just *looks* like a big ship to me.

Mmmmm, I wish the transformations were a bit more extravagant, this is your chance art team.
I get it all of them sort of display some kind of cooling system but, you can go further than that.

the problem with golem is its almost invisible in space. it looks great in stattion with all them lights, but if you are flying it, its like you are flying a shadow. It seriously could use more lights.

Golem looks great and the animation works smoothly, Love the hull change too but this wont make the raven any different will it?

Christ you look at the awesome sleek and symmetrical Hookbill and you wonder at what point did CCP stop caring how awful the rest of the caldari ships look.

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Nerf web strength, Make the blaster Eagle worth using

Don't like the golem. Looks like a fish with (broken) wings.

Also, it clearly shows 8 launchers, when it should only show 4.

Have you ever looked at any other ship before? Ships always have twice as many turrets on the model as they actually have, often oriented so that when the firing animation occurs, four of them fire no matter where the target is relative to the ship.

Eight launchers, four top and four bottom, is correct.

Yeah, I thought the Raven and Scorpion models had dedicated launcher hardpoints seperate from the turret hardpoints, and only exactly as many as are fitted to the ship. 4 visible launchers to 4 modules fitted, for example.

As I typed my original post to argue with you, I realized I don't actually remember whether or not it was like that. I'm pretty sure it is.

I don't know. I don't even care.

Looks good anyways.

FIrst - new colouration of the Golem is win,.. very awesome,.. run with it!

Second - The model for the Golem, while having some great new inovations in my opinion,.. also could use some tweaks.

The new "neck/head" has grown on me, but is there any way to somehow incorporate the old "beak" into the new "hammerhead", I like the idea, I just feel it could use a little more "umpft" up there.

Launcher locations for me are a win. The ones out on the "wings" earlier had blast effects showing through to the other side, current placement looks great!

I'm not a fan of the new "gull" style of wings. The model looks very "flat", and as it has already been stated, the "tech" under the starboard wing being removed leaves much to be desired. If you could bring back the "old" wings that'd be great.

Lastly, the forecastle that is situated just behind the triple band of orange. PLEASE get rid of that thing! Or at the very least make a replacement that is long and sleek, like the conning tower on an Akula Class Russian Submarine. The current one on the Golem/Raven looks like a lighthouse you'd find at Martha's Vinyard, and doesn't compliment the rest of the hull's lines. I want to mutter "Torpedoes in the water" in a voice like Marko Alexandrovich Ramius,.. not like some buttoned-down oxford WASP.

i love the new golem design and the paint in the station. Out in the space, there is nothing but black panels cant see anything. Please for the love of god put some flood lights on it or at some windors with lights. the hull need more blinkers. otherwise everything else is awsome.

Agree with all that except the beak bit, this is a Golem not a Raven. Ravens have beaks but as far as I am aware a Golem is some kinda hard badass mythical type affair usually a beasty of some sort made of stone or similair
