Pointless philosophies aside, good luck in your ventures and for the love of all that is wholesome don't get your ideals muddied by Republic politicking.

Serve the Tribes and not the Republic, it'll cost you less emotionally in the long run.

The Republic was founded by the Tribes, and is run by the Tribes. The Parliament is a place for the Tribes to discuss, and the Tribal Council has always been very influential - even more so since Shakor's reforms. The Tribes have founded the Republic, the Tribes are forming it, and the Tribes are changing it to adjust to what worked and what did not work.

There are those who try to pose the Republic as something opposed to the Tribes. That is simply wrong - the Republic is what the Tribes created, and opposing it is nothing else but telling the Tribes that they are "doing it wrong."

Good luck, but dont be too quick to turn your back on help from outside the republic. The Republic has many supporters in all three of your neigbouring empires who are willinf to stand next to you to build a strong independent republic with a strong economy that is free of crime.

The Republic may well have been created by some of the tribes, but it ceased to be a tribal institution when Shakor conducted his coup.
