If anyone says this game is a sandbox then they don't know what sandbox means. If rules apply (especially rules that they make so vague that know one actually knows what the rule covers) Then it's not a sandbox. Point #1 They will lock this thread so no one else can put their 2 cents about it in. Point #2 Try to figure out what tricking a noob into pvp is. Because there is no straight answer. They make it up as they go along. Some more points people.

"A litter box, sometimes called a sandbox, litter tray, litter pan, or catbox, is an indoor faeces and urine disposal box for cats"

Are you a cat?

(Edit: when faeces is spelled correctly, it isnt censored. Interesting)

By your definition, sandboxes are not sandboxes, because the laws of physics and whatever country you're in apply.

Also, the forums are not the game. They both have different rules.

Furthermore, they won't lock this thread so people can't discuss it. They will lock it because it's a pointless discussion hinging on your personal opinion, which by definition cannot be proven or disproven. They will lock it because pointless discussions such as this devolve into trolling and name calling when people don't agree with you.

No.

They will lock this thread for both Lack of Content and Non-Constructive Posting.

So I take it you don't really know what a sandbox is, OP?

Sure it is. Being a sandbox has little to nothing to do with the presence of rules. If anything, the rules are what makes a sandbox rather than an amorphous pile.

So how exactly does CONCORD fit into this whole "sandbox" definition?

Considering that every constelation or whatever areas they got, is a different server, and when you jump on a stargate you are literally connecting to a different server... not to mention different regions, different markets, whs etc..

id call it anything but a sandbox

thumbs up if you like :))))

What has it got in it's filthy little pocket!!!?

Edit: Oh god, I went there! I even said it in it's voice!!!

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

I guess maybe I'm a little angry I got warned for something yet I have no Idea why. I'm a paying customer and it seems like the want to protect the incoming players more than peeps like us who pay already and have been for some time. I don't think an action should be allowed to happen so easily mechanically if they don't want you to do it. Or at least be very clear on what it is they don't want you to do. Protecting one group over another is not a sandbox. For crying out loud if I'm yellow in couster that does not mean I'm tricking noobs into pvp. There are many reasons to be yellow in couster. Like how about trying to get a duel without being jumped by a guy who has 50 logi with him. In couster a guy like me who is trying to learn pvp couster is helpfull. Ps i dont mean to kill noobs but sometimes they attack me.

ok theres my rant, anyone got any helpfull thoughts?

Even a sandbox has rules that define it as a sandbox.

You can build whatever you want, but you have to build it out of sand.

2. take advantage of the system

I know what sandbox means, better than most of you. I have no proof, but my opinion is based on the information i have is logical and therefore correct. I use made up reasons to support my point, which i can't provide any actual arguments for. I also bring up the "noob"-argument. As i can't make up anything else, i bait small- and like-minded people into building upon my made up reasons.
