I only just got pointed to this thread today, so dropping in to confirm the following:
The implant will NOT appear on capsule killmails where the victim had it plugged in. (As of the 1.2 release last Tuesday). If it is in a ship's cargo hold (ie NOT fitted in someone's head), then it will be counted just like any other item as far as 50//50 drop chance goes, and killmail data.

I have an answer for you guys, Horray!

So the deal is that right now they will show up on your lossmail with price "unknown" but I asked around the office, and we think that something that isn't actually destroyed shouldn't show up as destroyed. So, we'll be making it so that they dont show up on lossmails at all very soon. Don't worry though, your pod will still show up in all it's golden goodness on all mails regardless of the implants presence on the mail, to show off just what a fancy flier you really are.

(Buy CCP Masterplan a beer when you get a chance, for this change)

the whole killmail should be golden. golden killmails for golden pods.

That's a great idea! (Both the buy-me-a-beer thing, and the golden killmail thing)

Question about jump clones .. can you plug it into more than 1 JC or can you plug it into only one of them? Also what happens if you self destruct your pod or get podded? does the implant appear back in a station?

It will switch with you when you jump clone, will not be lost if you SD or get podded. Once plugged it, you will not be able to get it back out without destroying it, just like any other implant.

I plugged mine in and it didnt turn gold. Logged off, restarted, cleared cache still green.

Board a ship and then eject from it. It is the act of leaving a ship whilst having the implant that creates the pod.

I will help you plug it in. Meet me in Jita tonight. There is a special plugging in ceremony we do at one of the planets.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

I was not aware that an implant is responsible for a golden pod and it somehow evades my imagination why a body implant should have a visual effects on an object like a capsule. Putting this aside, there is one thing that worries me: from my understand an indestructible implant (again where is the logic ... does it beam with the consciousness to your new clone??) will remain with you unless you "unplug" it (will it return when you jump to a new clone?). And just by creating this fact of an indestructible implant, I will give you a few month and you will have to deal with players who demand that kind of feature for their ordinary implants as well. I hope you are ready for this.

Podded a Goldmember last night while he had a shmok and a pancake, a waffle and a bong...

And to cut the cheese, his podmail had no extra implant although the ship picture of his pod was shiny and Gooooooooooold and brought up when clicked that it was some fancy pants implant numbers Jove pod..

Working well I'd say.

I suggest you read the description of the implant.

I am requesting official "Word of God" confirmation by a CCP employee on the question we all have in mind.

Will this item show up on real TQ KM's if I get podded, and will it reflect market value in total "ISK Destroyed"?
I'm not really a killboard humper or a "pro points" junkie... but I *DO* rather like my ISK Lost/ISK Killed number as it sits, right now. I'm not gonna see 4bil added to my losses every time I don't warp out fast enough (which doesn't really happen all that often, but still).

I want to plug this puppy in, but until that question is answered, I will not. I don't want to make myself unemployable to PvP corps, and I certainly don't want to destroy such a rare item.

Any PvP corp which turns you down on that basis is one that you're better off without.
