So after a sleepless night I selected all my assets, but instead of "Stack all" clicked on Trash.

Whooops, goodbye my 3kkk. Please tell me if I may get it back and should I write a petition about this?

As for your predicament just file a petition, the GMs will probably restore it for you.

You could try a petition and see if any GM's are feeling friendly. The may not help though, as you would of had to confirm you wanted to trash all your stuff by clicking ok on a pop up warning.

In the future it would probably be wise to buy some Station Containers to safeguard and store various items.

Less clutter in station items hangar, much safer and easier to find specific items. That way you won't be able to 'accidentally' trash everything.

Also you could keep items in different stations as well. Bit of an inconvenience but definitely doable.

Unless you have done it before, GM's are often forgiving with these kind of errors.

Hell, one guy even got his Noctis back upon petition because his Parrot undocked it while we were station camped.

So anything is worth a try.

File a petition, you might get it back depending on what the GM had for breakfast.

(Isn't there a confirmation box to trash items? Didn't that tip you off that something's wrong?)

Ummm... how did you manage to do this?. When you trash an item it will come up saying..

Trash Items
You are about to throw away the following items:
- 1 x XXXX
- 1 x XXXX
- 1 x XXXX

Are you absolutely sure you want to do this?

I don't see how this could have been a mistake, since when does 'Stack All' ask for a confirmation box?.
Also.. 'Trash It' is nowhere near 'Stack All'....

Sorry to say but the GM's should NOT reimburse you. There is plenty of warnings & the option is nowhere near Stack All..

Don't trash what you can't afford :)

I once trashed 200kk worth of skillbooks instead of injecting them.

CCP was very forgiving and reimbursed me.

Just so you know...you don't need to select your items to stack them. Just right click behind them in the window and click stack all. Trash doesn't even show up.

When you are talking about thousands of something (EXCEPT in the case of thousands of thousands) feel free to use a single K. In other situations involving other large numbers there are other special letters which designate the amount. No extra number of K's will make up for you not thinking to use them. And for content : you clicked OK in the warning box that popped up, if you get re-imbursed I want replacements for every ship I've ever made a poor decision in and got blown up..
