If you are talking about divisions and not actual hangars themselves as the name appears on the overview then you should be able to change those division from the front page of corp tab marked "Divisions"

If you are actually wanting to change a hangar's name in space then unfortunately the entire thing has to be repackaged at a station. If you simply unanchor it and then reanchor it the name will not change.

A pain in the butt if you are in a string WH but other than that easy enough.

Something to bear in mind if this sounds like a logistical nightmare is that you can spike a hangar within transfer reach of the original hangar, name it the way you want it and move everything without the new one being online (Just in case there are POS grid/cpu issues). After that you simply offline the old one and unanchor it and online the new one.

thanks man. so what im looking for exactly is a way to divide my hangars at my HQ for my New corp. its not a POS. ive seen it done in my old corp but i cant figure it out. basically i want the 3rd division to be named something like industry for example. then i want to make sub-division hangars within that to organize my assets...?

if i cant rename them without a POS im fine. but i truly hope there is away to add sub-divisions to each hangar. i like being more organized and just 7 divisions is not enough personally.
