Anyone else in the UK showing the collectors edition still held in customs?

No mine has been passed to Parcel Force. DHL aren't tracking it anymore.

That's odd.

Mine was delivered by Parcelforce but DHL still tracked it all the way to my door.

Arrived in Customs 16:37 Monday, cleared Customs 12:00 Tuesday, delivered 10:34 Wednesday.

Just unboxed it and it is amazing. I have to concur that the Rifter's tinier proddy bits don't fill me with confidence on their durability, but again I understand that sturdier model would have likely increased the cost of making them way too high.

But, aside from that, it is far from "cheap" unlike many people seem to claim. In fact one of the better and well thought out CE boxes I have come across, easily on par with Blizzard's.

Just unboxed it and currently playing the Eve Symphony soundtrack.
Please CCP bring out a blue ray with the original ingame scenes. Or at least upload the video to youtube.
I´ve been in the audience at fanfest and realy miss those beautifull scenes from EVE.

on the whole I am very happy with the package. The CD case was very well designed, codes on plastic cards instead of paper was a nice change and having a place to store them was a nice touch. The cd itself is great and I have not stop listen to it . I thought the danger game box would be bigger but it was a nice travel size, so no complaints here. The book is so nicely done feel like some true thought was put into it unlike some art book you get in collector editions.

The rifter itself is very nice. Yes, ok, it was made of plastic, like many people keep bringing up but hell, its a lot nicer than some things I've gotten before (the skyrim dragon was a real let down) and what collectors edition nowadays doesn't use plastic? Plus the price is cheaper due to them not using resin or other expensive materials which also cost a lot to ship. It also look very nice sitting on mine table just now :D.

The ingame items are really nice ,plus for those that don't want them there is always the ingame market .Mine fave ingame item apart from the Gnosis Battlecruiser Blueprint is the time capsule with things like Piece of Steve :). I heard some people complain about the mystery card. but I love the idea of the card am looking forward to what it will bring in the future.

So on the whole I am very happy with it and don't think I've wasted my money. CCP did well

Amazon and DHL delivered my box timely and without damage, as usual.

Rifter: really nice, way better than I expected. Doesnt look cheap, even thought its plastic. Small USB cabel sucks, but its main use is for "looking awesome on the table" anyway.

Book: very nice quality, heavy, lots of text, interesting to read.

Symphony: Yeah, I guess I dont have to tell anyone how crazy good this is. Loved it on the fanfest stream, one of the main reasons I buyed this.

Danger Game: The main reason why I buyed the CE. Looks good, the tin box is very compact. The cards could be more robust. The board doesnt fit into the box, has to be carried seperately. Cant say anything about the actual gameplay (yet).

The box of the CE is quite robust, didnt expect it to be that big and heavy.

TLDR: I am very pleased, really nice package.

Someone was asking in the in-game Help channel - where do you go to redeem the codes? I browsed around Account management and the only place I found to turn in a code was in the GTC area.

Other than a complete waste of money? Not much really and in retrospect, I would be happier if the book had been sold separately because that is what I was mostly interested in.

Vanity junk doesn't faze me at all, Rifter model feels and looks cheap and so, it looks like I paid €150 for a book that isn't even stimulating (unlike Art of EVE) to read. I would be happier if it was a box with €150 worth of plex.

You realize you can sell the in-game items, and get... like €150 worth of plex... right?

Way ahead of you. Even found a dope head willing to buy the rest of the physical junk.

You should look up the word bitter. It doesn't mean what you think it means.

there are multiple relevant codes.

-If you preordered the CE, you should get a code immediately that lets you claim the preorder stuff like the Nefantar thrasher
-There's the CCP mystery code which, as of right now, gives you a PLEX
-There's the EVE code, which gives you a bunch of collectables and, among other things, the golden pod
-The DUST514 code which contains all the DUST stuff.

The preorder code is given upon ordering or something (at least from the EVE store). Everything else is printed on cards inside the box

Anyway, my impressions: Generally positive. I like most of the things in the box (haven't gotten a chance to try Danger Game). USB hub rifter is well-detailed and looks great, but is extremely flimsy. Feels like it's going to break in the near future the next time a stiff breeze hits it.

I got the Thrasher immediately, also the PLEX and i got a message after activating the CE code that i would receive a ton of implants, ships, whatever - but nothing to claim at Login screen

I read something about activating the mystery code invalidating the CE code if you entered it after or something. Try entering the CE code again.

If you managed to get all the ISK out, and then also found someone to buy the physical stuff, didn't you actually make a net profit? (And shockingly, without violating the ToS.) I mean, shouldn't that be freaking awesome?
