I am proposing a simple change to the overview to assist faction warfare pilots with analyzing threats. What is this change? Simple - Instead of having the overview state "Pilot is in your militia or allied to your militia" have it separated into two separate states "Pilot is in your Militia" and "Pilot is Allied to you Militia".

Why is this essential? The current system enforces this militia "alliance" based on honor with no abject repercussions for hostile actions. At most causing a loss of security and a penalty to the other factions Militia Corp (State Pro, Federal Defense Union, Tribal Liberation, 24th) should they choose to pod their target.

Within Faction Warfare it is not uncommon for pilots to run their overviews without friendly militia. This is to avoid unnecessary clutter and the likelihood of accidental friendly fire - especially with the prominence of reds operating within FW. Not to say that one cannot simply analyze the purple start at the bottom left of the bracket, that being said - their is no way to out rightly distinguish allied militias from the primary militia. This allows AWOXERS to sneak up on individuals and abuse their friendly status with little to no penalty.

In before "Did an Amarr Militia Guy Sneak Up On you" - Yes.

Add a militia column to your overview and put if in the left position.

Squeeze it so it only shows 1st letter.

Then you will see A - for Amarr, C - for Caldari etc etc.

Simples.

It requires too much man power to implement so CCP is not going to fix it ever.
