Singularity Locked up my System

Have tried logging into Singularity twice this morning, once with DX9 and another with DX11. Both times I'd make it to the loading bars for "Preparing Data..." before both of my screens would go black, main screen still having the tool bar at the bottom. When I tried to access the task manager it allowed me to select the option, but then locked it in that menu. Had to restart my computer both times, and can confirm that Tranquility and other games work fine.

AMD A10-5800K APU 3.8 GHz
8.00 GB RAM
Radeon HD7850 GPU
Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
