DED 8/10 web + scram

Hi all,

Last night I completed my first Angel 8/10. While there were no shiny droppings, it was nice to realise I could run one of these.

First 3 rooms everything went as expected, but the last room had instant web (like multiple ded sites have) combined with scramming frigs.
I read the "site report" so I knew they were going to be there. My MJD Domi had no issue "evading" the scrams and the webs since I just jumped 100km further, deploy sentries, and shoot the incomming frigs while enjoying the sight of them popping.

However, I noticed how much of a PITA it is to move a Battleship trough null, even with scout. So I planned to change the Dominix for an Ishtar.

My question now: How do you cope with instant web + scramming frigs approaching you if you lack the MJD that sniper BS carry?

Additionally: What ship (non T3) could be used for this?

how can you cope with frigs that web and scam and you can't get away because you don't have mjd? well, there aren't many options right? deploy lights and try burning away while killing webbing frigs. that's about all there is

battleships, commandships, gila, ishtar

At least wait for the ishtar buff before swapping. Here is the thing: travel time is negligible when compared to the time savings of bouncer tracking dps on microjump ranges. Another noteworthy thing is that the Dominix is better suited for surviving antimatter channeler blast in 10/10. Because of this and following I think domi is your best choice.

Traveling through nullsec is not that scary in a Dominix; the mjd allows you to dodge damn many camps and you can always have aecm/light drones to evade the tackler that has the scram. Align-MJD-warp-cloak on a random belt of multi belt planet at 50-100 escapes most camps if you take out the scrambler that would shut the mjd down.

Because of mjd id say domi travels safer than ishtar.

EDIT:
Thought about it again and the smart thing to do is pack ECM-900's. The scram that shuts your MJD down works at heavy ecm drone optimals.

In an angel 8/10 there are web towers + elite frigs with web and disruptor, trying to do it with an ishtar would be a fail imo.

I know you said no t3, but... tengu. When you drop in to the last pocket, align out the way you came in from, pop the towers, pop the elite frigs, and after that pop everything else.

You will need 1000+dps to kill the structure fast which drops the goodies, so if you can, bring an alt with a high damage ship.

I know you said no t3, but... tengu. When you drop in to the last pocket, align out the way you came in from, pop the towers (40km+ away), pop the elite frigs, and after that pop everything else.

Buy cheap 10-run Dominix BPC, salvage anoms, build Domis in situ.

Done.

Got cyno alt?

1. Get your main into SIN (Modify FIT as needed - MJD, cloak etc.) (http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/52619-OMG-A-Mission-Sin.html)
2. Train alt for covert cyno
3. Jump with covert cyno alt to plex and Cyno your blops into plex.
4. Profit

yeah this room is pretty scary. Way scarier than the guristas 8/10. You can pop the stasis towers quickly on warp in, but by the time you do, the frigs will be on top of you. Ideally you can do it fast enough that you can kite the frigs long enough to start killing them. It should still be soloable with a tengu, but when I did it I brought in a gila as well to make sure the frigs died fast enough.

Popping the stasis towers helps, but the prisinor retaining centre also webs. And repairs imense within 60km.

Moving a BS is fine if you got a cloak and MJD. I personally like RS for running plexes because it can run almost all of them solo and it can tank all of them. The ones you can't solo are the ones that need DPS from at least 2 ships cause reps on stations are too strong.

RS can tank, spank and remote rep at the same time. Also has enough fitting for everything. I only wish they change the cruise range to drone control range :(

There will be a small deployable hangar available next expansion. Don't yet know how how big it's gonna be, but I guess you will be able to deploy it from a BS and refit.. You can then travel with stabs and nanos, later switch to tank/dps in whatever ratio you need. It's gonna be great.
